im thinking of starting a guild for word games, and i could use some more ideas. currently im thinking of:
word association (like the one here but its on anything that pops in your head)
five words at a time (only 5 words per post)
sdrawkcab
last letter is first letter of the next word
would you rather...
any other ideas?

I like them all so far.
what about games like;
my first is in hiss, but not in snake
my second in egg but not in chick
my third is in elf but not in fairy
my fourth is the third
my last is in moon but not in sun
(it spells hello)
You could make it really hard or quite easy.
For the last letter/first letter one you could have sub-catergories for general words or all things them famous people/celebrities, books or films?

ooo the poem is cool 4laugh or other jokes could work too
reminds me of the 50 S on an AF (50 Stars on an American Flag), i have to look it up but i know there are tons like that.
i was also thinking of pics, like you get a close up of a pic, and you have 3 choices that it could be, or you have 2 pics and you have to find the differences. and to make that easier we can only use tektek car or avatar makers
its nice to get ideas now, cause i still have plenty of time to make 20k, lol, and i was thinking that if you want to play just make a post with your answer or ???, so after everyone played, i can make a post of the correct answer, and if you dont leave a post, that means you dont want to play. or you have all week to post your answers and ill post the correct answer on friday or saturday.
and manda if you think "5 words at a time" is hard, try sdrawkcab, its hard as hell to type that, lol

That's a good idea - posting to show you want to play. Picture games are cool too - I thought you just wanted word games.

yeah, taking a picture a covering it up somewhat so you cant see the whole thing and guessing who it is. i was thinking of something like that but its a closeup of a certain section.
and there are just so many games out there, that i think words games would get too boring, so its gonna be of word games, pic games, jokes & riddles, even number games like sudoku or karuko, i have lots of puzzle books, so i just have to look thru them for games, lol

oh and for the last letter is the first letter of the next word, it can be for a whole sentence or phrase, not just a word
do it right, and it can be fun

do you think there should be diff subforums for each type of game?
like a subforum for word games, another for picture games, and another for number games?

yep, the subforums are for the games only, any chatting will be in the main forum. ill have an Announcement saying this is a game forum or something, and a Sticky for any other game ideas.
so for this guild im gonna need 20k to open it, then 2.5k for each subforum, so thats 27500, to have my guild, well 7500 is for the guild fund, that how the subforums are made

Wow...that's mental...and confusing to me. You need 20k to open the guild (that bit I get) and all the other gold you get from membership fees and dontaions?

yeah, i read the faq too, i wasnt gonna start a guild to find out that i need like a 100k to get things started. now we just need a name for it: Puzzles and Fun? or
Word Games and More? or
Word Games and Fun Puzzles? any other ideas?

did you guys ever have the 'puzzle' book when you were little. They were a series and you have to do the puzzle - take the people through mazes but each section had to do something (like all the doors tyou went thorough had to be certain colours). There was Puzzle Island, Puzzle Farm, Puzzle Planet, Puzzle Mountain and a few others...anyway.
How about Puzzle Gaia? haha
