At the moment Izumi is working on an original cosplay dress.. is either an Ice or Snow Fairy or Elf... It has very flowey skirt and top is covered in embroidery and beading.. Izumi want it to look like it is made of ice and snow! So far Izumi has base of dress together and has started on the beading and embroidery... Unfortunately someone bumped into the table and knocked off a whole thing of seed-beads! They went EVERYWHERE! Luckily the other container that was right next to it didn't fall..
Izumi is also trying to put back together a vintage 1920's kimono.. the lining tore so Izumi is replacing it.. and so far Izumi has the sleeves relined and is about to start on the body... is actually too short for Izumi, so she is going to be VERY brave (or stupid) and lengthen it.. Izumi will cut it just below where the obi sits and will add some fabric.. just a few inches is all it needs and it will be hidden underneath the obi!... Izumi hopes she can do this.. The thought of cutting a perfectly good kimono is so scary!
