I am hardcore into everything that has to do with zombies so I did a little research to find some horror zombie novels. I found Brian Keene's series of three novels (The Rising, City of the Dead, and The Dead Sea) and fell in love with it. The zombies aren't your normal kind which kind of upset me at first but the story won out over my purist attitude. If you are a horror or zombie fan I highly recommend this series.

There was something about that series that made me despise it. I mean, I tried very hard to get past the fact that they weren't normal zombies (I'm very open to all sorts of zombies) but I only read the City of the Dead and positively hated it so much that I didn't even want to TOUCH the others...
