Theres a lot of debate going around weather Kuronue is younger or older then Youko Kurama.
Weather hes stronger,weaker and or equal to his partner.
So what do YOU think?

I don't think Youko Kurama would choose a weak youkai to make his second-in-command. I'd say Kuronue's probably at least equal in power.
As for his age, I think he is probably younger or equal in age.

Ah, this debate among fans has pissed me right the hell off many a times. Fans seem to like to treat Kuronue in the EXACT same fashion they treat dear old Yomi, sometimes even a tad worse. There has been more than one occassion where I have been reading a fanfic and just felt like smashing my lap top agianst a wall because they have so DRASTICALLY undermined Kuronue's, hell even Youko's intelligence with how stupid they make Kuronue. People seem to think that he was some inept little princess for Youko to have to save constantly and only good for a bed toy... *Miko twitches in annoyance.* I'm a freakin' yaoi fan and even *I* find stories like that to just be in completely bad taste.
For one, not only do I really think they are being severely lacking in respect and appreciation for Kuronue when they write crap like that, but they are comepltely undermining Youko's intelligence as well... In my opinion Kuronue HAD to have been equal in power to Kurama... I highly doubt the fox would have been stupid enough to carry around any kind of liability with him on his raiding missions, much less a partner. This of course has to be keeping in mind though that at that point in time Youko was not at his strongest... Youko could have MAYBE been a middle B-class demon by the time he was taken down by that hunter, he didn't reach the S-Class until the fight with Sensui... So neither of them would have been terribly powerful... so to weaken Kuronue even more... words really cannoy express how much it pisses me off.
As for Kuronue's age... well that's not something I have seen discussed or debated too often... Usually age debates are reserved for Hiei... However if it's anything to go by I would say that Kuronue likely had to be about the same age as Kurama if their power levels were anything alike... He may have been a few years younger, but it would not have been a major age gap. At least, not in my view...
