I'm reading Shakespear's Merchant of Venice, and I just found this beautiful quote: The suitors of Portia must chose between three caskets with the above inscriptions. Of course, Portia's picture is in the last casket - only choosing that will win her hand in marriage. I just thought, isn't that perfect BDSM Master/Mistress quote? Are you willing to "give and hazard all you have"? smile

Very sweet.
So true, too, the amount of risk and trust needed.
A very sweet quote indeed.

I like it. I love reading Shakespeare, but alas, there is no one to share it with here. I say we bring literature back to the Midwest.

Excuse me...man, but do you have a problem with me or what I said? If you do than you have a problem with a Mod, and the GM. This guild is for conversation, good hearted conversation, between people. So I suggest you keep your snide comments to yourself, or you will be out of here faster than two shakes of a lambs tale.

To each is their own, fair Sirs.
Bickering is silly, nyeh? Not everyone likes Shakespeare, and some folk like a bit more respect than others.
Threats aren't nice, and escalating things certainly isn't, but neither of you is without fault. Let's just keep things fairly civil, hm?
