I'm not asking this like, I don't know if its defaulted (because its not) just because I'm curious about like, if how many people affect who you play as, or if your playing against a specific person (friend, bro, sis, etc.) do you change who you play as?

I like using Ike when my friend uses Sonic biggrin it pisses him off so much when I win cause he thinks he can beat me with speed xD

Amen to Doom. I tend to use Ike regardless of who I'm playing. It really REALLY pisses my friend off because if I pick Ike he'll usually pick someone fast, like Sheik or Sonic.

And I still win. Power > Speed, much?

If I decide to pick Marth he'll usually pick someone powerful, like Donkey Kong or Bowser. So I guess it's more of a, he responds to what I pick rather than I respond to him, since in most battles I end up picking first anyhow.

Only thing I can't beat on Ike is buttonmashing spam on, like, Pit or Sheik or Metaknight. I know, all I need to do to get out of a trap (like Pit's SideB or Sheik's KICKKICKKICK) is counter or jump but damn, Ike's not FAST ENUFF xDDD

Oh well, every character has ups and downs, neh?

I wouldn't say that the character the enemy selects affects my decision on who I do select, but rather on who I DON'T select. For instance, if I know I'm about to go up against Zelda I may not choose Bowser due to him being fairly vulnerable to her Din's Fire.

I use 2 just play pikachu but now since my friends influenced me I sometimes use the tier list
I wanna use every character fluently or at least ditto them
