Ok, sorry this is my first post since joining, but with work it's kinda hard to be on regularly. I just wanted to know something. You see my brother recently started to read some of the books and just finished the third. We got to talking about why Edward was still trying to kill the master of the city after Guilty Pleasures. I believe Malcom (Sorry if I didn't spell it right) still wants Jean-Cleade dead and hired him. I know it might not make much sense but it was the only one that made sense at the time I was thinking about it. What do you think??

idk about killing the master and i can't look it up since i just loaned Circus to a friend, but Edward and his weapons at the end of that book were amazing.

It was about then that I wondered if Edward was just watching Anita to see what she was going to do. Edward always has his toys with him and to meet up with the underground in order to get closer in case Anita gets burned would be more viable than just going in with guns blazing.

I imagine Edward could see what was up just by watching Anita, seeing how she moved with the world then. If he did plan to kill someone that night, it was to benefit both him and Anita, but since he knew by killing Jean-Claude/Master of The City he'd kill Anita as well, maybe he held back and just killed a giant snake instead?

I mean really, how often do you get to cut apart a giant snake? Really. :3

Plus, by The Killing Dance, Edward was sure that by hanging out with Anita that he'd get to kill much cooler things, and I wonder if Circus of The Damned isn't a prelude to those thoughts anyway.

I would see your point if it wasn't for the fact that he didn't know about the marks. I still want know what was going on. stressed

Oh duh. I always get some of the effects wrong. Oh well. ^_^

Maybe he was wondering just how Deep she'd gotten. He was testing her for the longest time, doing the "pissing contest" as Anita so eloquently said it in Obsidian Butterfly.
