I thought this would be a cool idea for a topic, but I realized I have no idea what superpower I'd want. I'm going to have to think about this some more...

Shape-shifting and appearance altering.
I think my only problem would be I wouldn't be sure if I had a real default appearance. It may give me identity issues. lol

Element_Dancer The power to control time. ^.^ that´s a good one, i could need more time for everthing anyway but something more flashy like controlling elements or other stuff like that you often see in anime would be cool too (ah, i´m still a kid inside redface )

id have to say the kinda psychic powers phenoix off of the 3rd X-men movie, either that or the ability to command worm holes, (basically would be used for teleportation purposes) but so i wouldnt have to teleport myself but others objects to different spots so i dont have to move and get blamed for touching the items twisted

Eh, controlling time never seemed to appealing, it just got too confusing.
See, if you went back in time to change something, then if it was changed, then why would you go back in time to change it? Therefore, it would happen all over again, since you never went back in time. But since you are in the future, you didn't have the choice to go back in time, so you go back in time to change it. But then if you changed it, you wouldn't go back in time to change something that never happened, so then theoretically, it would happen "again." Thus, ending up in a continuous time loop. It would really suck =/
But if changing the past would cause the universe to shift into a parallel universe, theoretically, it could change the past, but in a different universe.
lol Yes I am a dork and actually have the time think of things like this xp
but hey, who doesn't have at least something that they would want to change in their past.

Dude i think you seen Back to the Future to many times. actually i think this is what they meant by time altering or time control. i think they meant it as in a way to freeze time. i.e. your about to be smashed to tiny bits by a giant gorilla... if you could freeze time you can get away before its a close casket funeral for ya. if i got it wrong im sorry for those i mis represented.
