March 10 guild thank you-art
Yes! That's right! I said thank you-art!
Despite not having much to be grateful about in this mess yet, I would like us in this guild to take the time and express our gratitude to the ones who have done much to help us and support us and keeping us updated on the progress. I'm sure you all have someone you can feel some sort of gratitude to. Maybe a moderator who took the time to answer your PM and calming you down? Maybe your best friend, for lending you a rod while shut out of your account? Maybe a new friend that you've found in the guild or thread?
What I want you to do is the following:
1. Make art for the person you would like to thank. Even though I appreciate art made for me, I think there are some who might appreciate (and deserve) art that haven't got any yet. Please make for them =) It can be avi art but it's not at all necessary. For those of you who don't feel graphically talented enough, you can write a poem or just a letter. As long as it's from the heart ^__^
2. Post your art, poem, letter etc. in this thread. Make sure to post the username you're giving it to, and what username you would like to be put as the sender if you don't want it to be the account you're posting with.
What I'll do:
1. Send you a trade on 1000g each submission. If you don't want the gold, I'm giving it to the March 10th Martyrs Charity instead, to help the users that are still banned. This means you can help other users get back on their feet by donating your thank-you art.
2. When accounts have started to be unbanned At a time of my choosing, that I will announce before, I will send out the thank you-art, poems and letters to the recipients, with the names of the givers to each piece, and the guild's name on top.Since activity in the guild has declined and we don't see a lot more progress, I'm just going to wrap it up and get ready to send out the art. only if i stay out of that other thread. i think i'm going to from now on.
people there were not necessarily positive before, but they weren't starving themselves or threatening violence before, either. it's getting to be... well, revolting, really.
even though i don't share the sentiment, i can understand why some folks in my home forum tend to say things like 'STFU' every time someone complains. stressed
but enough of that. i'm going to ... do something else until i feel more inspired. :3
