{Items to bring}

User Image

{On me}
Face mask / Masked Earmuffs / Slayer Helm - MUST HAVE TO FIGHT DUSTIES
Amulet - I use a Fury for the Def bonus
Torso - I use Fighter Torso for the Def and Str bonus
Legs - I suggest Dragon Plate legs for the Def and the fact that they never have to be repaired
Arrow/Bolt - leave this spot empty, you'll be getting tons of rune arrows while you're here
Cape - Highest bonuses recommended (Skillcape, Skillcape (t), Obsidian, or legends)
Gloves - Highest RFD (Recipe for Disaster) Gloves you can wear, also Klanks Gauntlets / cooking gauntlets work as well
Boots - Highest Armored boots you can wear / afford
Weapon - Whip (Attack / Defense Training) Dragon Scimitar (Strength Training)
Shield - Dragon Square (If Legends Quest Completed), Rune Defender (Recommended)
Ring - Any combat rings (Warrior / Berzerker) or Ring of Wealth (recommended)

{Inventory}
Coins - Just bring 1gp, your using it as a placeholder
Chisel - to cut the gems you get, also if your fletching level is high enough, cut them into bolt tips
Mud Staff - Infinite supply of Water and Earth runes for the Bones too Peaches spell
Secondary Weapon - Excalibur, recomended (use the special to boost your Defense temporarily 8 levels), DDS (Kill Dusties very fast), Dragon Battle axe (boots strength by 15 levels but also lowers your attack level)
Crimson, Gold, Green, and Blue Charms - again, these will be used as placeholders, so only bring 1 of each with you
Fire runes - Last placeholder, so only bring about 50 to get you through a few high alchs till you get fire runes as a drop
Nature runes - Bring around 250 of them, this will allow you to cast bones to peaches 100 times and high alch 50 times
Bones - when you first go to the dusties, bring actual food (lobsters or better)

{How to get to the Dust Devils}

For my guide, I'll be covering the Edgeville / Chaos Tunnels method,
which involves banking at Edge, running into the wild and climbing down into the Tunnels.
Here is a link to the Tip.it Chaos Tunnels Map,
for us we will be taking the rope down into room 44, using the teleport to room 47,
using the teleport to 46 then finally using the teleport to room 8.

User Image

The Red shows you the path to the Chaos Tunnels, and the Yellow shows you where the closest alter is.
ALWAYS TURN ON PROTECT FROM MELEE BEFORE ENTERING THE TUNNELS!
Once you hit room 46(monk of zamorak) You can turn off the protection prayer, the level 103 zombies can and will pile you if you don't have melee protection prayers on,
I still get hit 23's if not using a prayer.

{Fighting the Dust Devils}

Now when you reach the Dusties, which will take you about 30 seconds if your coming from Edge,
the first thing your going to want to do is make sure if you brought the Excalibur, to use it's special.

User Image

Temporarily raising your defense by 8 levels

Next, would be to kill as many Dusties as fast as you can!
Then when your special bar is full again, equip your Excalibur and use it's special again, rinse and repeat.

{Drops}

Now for drops,
1. Coins, even though they may only be 20-80gp for a drop, they add up VERY quickly
2. Bones - only pick up if you've used a piece of food and have a free inventory spot
3. Herbs - Only pick up Ranarrs, as this saves alot of room
4. Rune Dagger - Pick up and high alch
5. Rune Arrows - pickup and equip to your arrow slot
6. Rune javelins - Don't Pickup, waste of a Nature rune
7. Red D'hide vambraces - Pickup and high alch
8. Gems - cut and, if your fletching level allows it, cut them into bolt tips then drop, save only Diamonds
9. Fire runes - pick up
10. Chaos runes - pickup is optional
11. Soul runes - pickup is optional
12. Dragon Chainbody - Your one very lucky person if you get one of these.
13. Shield Left Half - alch, the alch price is the same as Grand Exchange value.
14. Ugthanki Kebab - drop your bones and pick these up,they heal 19hp each.
15. Charms - pick these up, they will stack into your Charms placeholders.

{Banking}

Eventually your going to get alot of inventory space being taken up by Rannars or Diamonds, when this happens, it's time for a bank run.

If you're using an Amulet of Glory, just rub to teleport out of the tunnels. If not, just came back the way you came in,

Cape - Highest bonuses recommended (Skillcape, Skillcape (t), Legends, Obsidian cape)

How could you forget that? Obsidian cape Gives more defense bonus then Legends after all. Bonus Identical to that of a skill cape. (Minus Skillcape (t)'s which give the prayer bonus.

Gloves - Highest RFD (Recipe for Disaster) Gloves you can wear, also Klanks Gauntlets/Cooking Gauntlets work as well

Put that it's best to take the ring of wealth. Think chances of a Chain is about 1 out of 16k, while with one it's about 1 out of 8k. Or to replace Excalibur with a Dragon Dagger, as with the special you can kill a dustie way quicker every few seconds..

Oh! Almost forgot, for banking put use home port. That way you can take a good amulet like a fury, then use a glory from the bank to get back. 3nodding

Yeah, if you have the money, you could use Bones to peaches tabs. Though, I only suggest using the tabs if you havn't gotten the spell from the mage training arena already. sweatdrop

Cost about 1.6k Each. :s

Are Dust Devils aggressive? If so, for how long?
How many Spenjeres does it take to change a light-bulb?

Just some questions that need answers.
