the day before yesterday, my parents and i went to hamburg (in germany, about 1 hr by airplane) to watch the musical, we had to get up very early to catch the airplane and arrived in the later morning, then we went to eat in really awesome fish restaurant (since hamburg has one of the biggest fish markets in europe) and i ate lobster, that was so awesome (okay, afterwards my clothes didn´t look the way they looked in the morning sweatdrop cause the lobster-flesh was really hard to get out of it´s shell) but it tasted really good!! then we walked around the city and we bought some clean clothes for me to wear during the musical, and since we only stayed for one day and hadn´t much time time left, we went to the theatre then (it was on the other side of the river and there were ships extra made for the lion king to get us there). as soon as it started i got goose bumps cause i was so astonished by the voice of the singer (rafiki, he was played by an african woman with a real powerful voice). the rest musical was really awesome too, starting from the costumes of the lions and the other animals up to the scenery they put up in the back, they really did those parts of the movie i thought would be really difficult to do on stage very well, i was astonished.
but there was also a negative aftereffect, cause now i´m lying sick in bed, cause of walking around in the cold air and i just made it worse by visiting a friend the day we got back (we took the first flight on the following day) and playing video games for more than six hours (!!)
now, i´ve got a minor fever, headache and my ears and my throat hurt like hell, but i don´t regret having seen the musical (perhaps the video games, but.... nah)

The lion King on stage is breathtaking!!! I spent days after sort of not quite with it and just singing the songs all the time. Hope you feel better soon Astharte!
