Here is a head shot of my main character:
There are 3 main characters, Thaliat- the girl that the story centers around, Lyhake- the cocky thief, and Reiger- the former soldier of the enemy army. There are two warring nations in the storyline. It actually works into the story around Thaliat, but I won't spoil that yet. Anyway, Thaliat is adopted and the whole story is about her quest to find her birth parents...some of the concept may be a little contrived, but Thaliat is not the typical manga innocent leading girl. She is actually skilled with a sword thanks to her adoptive father. She's young, so she'll have some insecurities of course, but she is also rather hard headed and willful. Thaliat can be a bit of a trouble maker without trying sometimes.
I'll post updates here. For now I'm finishing character designs. Then I'll begin drawing the first few pages!
