Hey there fellow guild mates! I am proud to announce that the very first guild newsletter has finally arrived! Now, I'm sure some of you are wondering just what the heck this newsletter is for, so here is some basic information on what you might find within it.
What is the guild newsletter?
The Sands of Fate~ a NejiGaara Guild Newsletter, a way of communication from me to you about what has been happening in our guild. Here you will find information on new sub-forums, announcements, contests, RP's, members, and more!
Why do we have it?
I created the guild newsletter in hope that it would convince members to become more active. If you guys know what's going on, then I'm hoping you'll visit and post in our guild more often.
Now that you know what this is all about, here is some info on what's going on in our guild now.
What's New?
Sub-forums
Since this is our very first newsletter, I'm going to tell you a little bit about each sub-forum that we currently have. They are, as follows:
Chat: Talk amongst your fellow guild mates about anything and everything that crosses your mind that doesn't have a thing to do with the topic of the guild.
RP: Come and create a world where you and fellow guild member(s) can act like any of the characters from Naruto that they choose to be. Give us a scenario, the main pairing(s) (it doesn't have to be NejiGaara if you don't want it to be. It might be hard to let anyone get involved if there are two main characters and a bunch of side characters. They could be a side pairing though...), and anything else you find crucial to your RP, and have fun.
Games: Post games that you think everyone would enjoy taking a part in. Try to keep them related to the guild but if you have something else in mind just let me know through pm and I'll consider it.
Suggestion Box: Here you can post your ideas on how to make the guild a better, more active place. You can come up with your own ideas or you can comment on someone else's.
Contests: Let your competitive side show as you compete against each other for prizes during annual contests. Information about upcoming contests will be coming soon.
Announcements
There aren't many new announcements as of this moment other than the updated rules and the announcements within the sub-forums. There is one other one that I would like to mention however...
Guild Affiliates: I've been on the lookout lately for guilds that you be interested in befriending our guild. As you can see on the homepage, we currently have three, but I would like to have more if possible. The point of affiliates, if anyone is wondering, is to advertise you guild so that people will know about it and hopefully join as well as make friends with other guilds with similar interests who we can do inter guild RP's, games, and contests with. So please, if you know of a guild who would like to affiliate with us, please let me know!
Contests
The contest sub-forum is still a relatively new forum, so I have yet to put up a contest for you to participate in. I had planned to put one up on the 15th, but obviously, didn't get to it. So, instead, I will be starting the very first contest on April 1st. I'll have more details about it later.
