Ajabu was born on the outskirts of these lands and so it was quite normal for him to head into the lands, have a little nose about and leave again. He had rarely spoken to anyone and why that was; well no one was really that sure. It didn’t make much of a difference to him. He was a rogue at heart and he loved his parents dearly especially now it seemed his mother was gaining weight again. There was only one thing he could think of to explain her sudden weight gain and he would ask her about it in time but not yet. She could tell them if she so wished.
He let himself move around the lands freely as he always did, heading towards the watering hole first off for a bath and drink and then maybe he would laze in the sun or go and find aunt Nyunya. He wasn’t sure what he was going to do but he would do something, he knew that much.

Tafuta was born of royal blood from two prides, the Kusuni and the Pridelands. Though she had only ever lived in the Kusuni lands something about her wished to leave, be on the move. She loved her pride and her parents, more so her grumpy father but she wished to be away from her large family and her family was large, it was huge! She loved them all but sometimes you just want to escape from it all and have space to be yourself and that’s what she dreamed of doing.
She had woken up early and left the den to get a drink, she just wanted some space and she found waking up early normally gave her that space to just wander about and be left to her own thoughts and desires. She moved swiftly towards the water and happily looked about. No one was there. Perfect.
She moved closer to the water and lowered her head to have a drink, her front paws were in the water and here she felt content and happy. It was times like this that she loved her home.

Ajabu reached the watering hole and was a little annoyed, he didn’t normally ever see anyone else about but there was a female. She was pretty, her colours were gorgeous and her eye markings were interesting to say the least. He hadn’t a clue who she was though. There is only one way to change that!
“Hello there!” He smiled and spoke softly heading towards the water and lowering his head to lap up some. Fresh cool water was the best thing anyone could have in the morning! He raised his head again to look at the girl and smiled. He wondered who her parents were, most of this pride seemed related in some way or another. It was just how it was here.

Tafuta raised her head annoyed a little that someone else was there during the time she set aside for herself. She looked at the male and was confused, she hadn't seen him before, or had she? She wasn't sure but something about him looked familiar.
"Hey." She spoke nicely though she wanted to shout at him to go away. She wanted her own time.
She just watched him drink water and wondering who he was and why he looked familiar. She had probably just seen him about, yes that was it.
"Who are you?" That was clearly the best way of finding out!

Ajabu felt a little uneasy he suddenly felt unwanted, maybe it was the way she looked at him but he shook it off. He wasn't good at meeting strangers and was probably just paranoid.
"I am Ajabu, may I ask your name?" He was a polite boy, brought up to be one. He wasn't really a social bunny though was happier to be by himself so he was as miffed to come across someone as she was.

Tafuta said his name over a few times in her head to try and memorise the name. She wasn't the best at remembering things after all.
"I am Tafuta." She stated matter of factly. She wasn't really that bothered about names, after all what do you learn from a name? She could call him whatever she wanted doesn't mean it would tell her anything about him!
"Where are you from, you look slightly familiar but I honestly haven't a clue as to why." She was quite blunt in the way she spoke, no point dancing around a point now was there? She just looked him over a few times, he couldn't be that much older then she was!

Ajabu just stared at her for a little while. Her name didn't ring a bell and he was sure he hadn't seen her about but then he had lived in the lands a long time and so it was more then possible that she had seen him roaming the lands, even though he was never officially born of the pride.
"I was born on the borders of these lands, my aunt lives here with her children. My mother and father rested here though I do not know how long, they seem to be wanderers and one day I expect they will move on again. Have you lived here all your life?" He was curious, she looked like it. Many of the lions had her sort of colouring so he was almost certain that she was of the royal blood.
He looked around to see if anyone else was near, they weren't. Shame. He didn't mind too much but it would have been nice to have seen someone else, he felt a little awkward talking to this girl.

Tafuta listened, trying to work out exactly who he was but to no avail.
"Yes I was born here, my mother is the first daughter of the old King and Queen and my father is the son of the old King and Queen of the Pridelands, sister to the Queen of the lands." Okay she was super proud of her heritage.
She looked at the male and wondered a little about her family, after all he seemed nice enough but then again he was a rogue and technically shouldn't in the lands. She was starting to wonder whether she would be able to chuck him out the lands though she doubted it somewhat.
"Sooooo Ajabu, why are you here so early in the morning?" She was curious after all he was a good looking male who seemed to be seeking time alone which confused her somewhat.

Ajabu was looking about trying to avoid eye contact with royalty. He seemed to find it odd that she was royal from two seperate prides but kept the thought to himself.
"Wow you have quite the history don't you!" He chuckled a little and then listened to what it was she asked him. He hadn't thought that it would be a bit weird. He always wandered on his own but then again who knows.
"I like to wander around in the mornings, its peaceful with most the lions still asleep. I normally don't have to worry about bumping into anyone either. I know this is not my pride and though they have been kind to us I don't want to over step anything ya know?" He smiled at her and was about to ask the same question however it was clear that it would mean this conversation was becomming something like a parrot talking.
"What do you normally get up to at this time in the morning then? I mean I usually just wander about but you are younger so I assume that means you get up to more interesting things?" He hoped so anyway that or he just made her sound very boring indeed.

Tafuta listened and tilted her head a little. She did have the best history ever that was clear!
What did she do in the mornings?
"I try to escape my family, have some me time. I get to run around and explore without being bothered by my family which is nice and I can come and have a bath in peace and erm yeah. I don't know really I just do what I feel like." She smiled and stretched a little. She wondered whether she should head home but she did like this guy and maybe he would play?
"Do you like to play at all?" No harm in asking!

Ajabu listened and nodded he could relate. Sometimes it was nice to just let yourself wander without much of a reason or intended place in mind. He loved to wander which is why he had been away for so long before, he had just gone and well he wandered for far too long.
"Play?" Well he hadn't played as such for quite a long time, was he too old to play now? He wasn't quite sure and so he just nodded his head. "Sure, sometimes. I assume this means that you would like to play?" Of course she might not but he couldn't think of any other reason why she would ask such a thing.

Tafuta smiled as she watched him. The idea of playing seemed to confuse the male which of course in turn confused her. Did he not ever play? What a strange creature he was if he did not play.
"I do not mind playing but no right now I would not. I was just curious to whether you were the playful type." She wasn't sure what to do. He was a strange one, he seemed far from playful and even somewhat confused at the idea. How strange.
"What do you like doing?"

Ajabu wasn't really sure what he liked to do. He liked wandering and he liked spending time with his family but other then that he wasn't really sure. Maybe he didn't like that much at all?
"I don't know really, I like exploring and wandering. There are so many places to see." But he didn't like meeting anyone while he was wandering and was much happier to find himself curled up somewhere. Then moving on and then curling up and so on.
"I like spending time with my family as well." Other then that was there anything else he liked?

"Well surely you like something else? What about meeting new people when you are travelling or discovering new things or hunting... or something!" She looked at him slightly annoyed at just how boring he was starting to appear to be.
"You know what? I don't care if you seem to be the most boring thing in the world. I am going to find you some fun things to do whether you like it or not!" She stared at the male, determined seemed to be written all over her face.

Ajabu was shocked by the words that came out of the youngsters mouth. She wasn't serious? She was so young, she couldn't leave the pride yet or show him anything could she? Or maybe this was just Ajabu hoping that she couldn't.
"Your a bit young aren't you?"
Yep that was going to be his argument against it. A silly argument for sure but he had to find something. He was somewhat scared of meeting new people, he just didn't like it.
