You see me from the outside The body of a young man But inside there is true beauty That the gods have yet to grasp
You mock me & deny my humanity But your words fall upon deaf ears Laugh at me & I smile Because i know where you're going is worse
I accept your faults for what they are But I am blind to what you see When it comes to matters of the heart You are bound but I am free
I didn't put these chains on your wrists Or put a vice grip around your neck The noose was tied when you forgot That the beast you created will get you back
I am hated for what I am For that I have no doubt But try as hard as you can You still haven't figured me out
Inside a woman, outside a man Just being the best I can!

I really like this poem! biggrin
It's strong and self-confident, and pretty much sums up my attitude about the matter, even though I'm not MtF in the 'traditional' sense of the term; I don't need surgeries to make me feel like I'm accepted as a woman.

Don't let society let you down You are beautiful female And don't let anybody tell you other wise
