arrow rules:
1. no god moding
2. be somewhat literate
3. keep fights down to about 15 posts, because noone can fight forever! (exeptions will be specified)if your charater is a biserker or uses energy shots (needle shots not drinks) then they can fight a littlelonger but not forever use your logic
3. NO SEX romance is encouraged though you can take it to a pm if you must just post some thing like; and the lights went dim... pms' the next morning...
4. no killing with out my or the person's permission (ha i can kill joo>.< but I'll bring you back)
5. dont correct other's spelling and grammar its mean and ill black list you it pisses me off (mods are exeptions)
6. if black listed you will be subject to guild banning TT-TT

arrow story:
much like the manhatten project in the mis 20th century the government keeps many secrets, this one how ever went wrong. since the dawn of modern man people have wondered "why do we dream" the american government setout to find out. what they found was uncontainable and leaked out of the confinds of area 51. the scientists involved i nthe project went mad at the sight of what had steped though the portal the project code named "the realms" was out. a physical manifestation of magical and scientific colaberation was now set loose in the confinds of manhatten and the vasinity of the four burrows. the "demon" touched a select few and bestowed them with unimaginable powers these few were shortly there after sucked in to portals trapped to roam the dream plain for the rest of their lifes...
others still living in the city have learned to access "the realms" in their dreams though soem encounters with the beasts beond have been reported as fatal hince they are called apocalyptic nightmares...

Personality: Carter is an extremely intelligent and thoughtful person. He speaks informatively usually and is not one for much small talk. He's all about doing his duty, as best as he can.
Bio: Carter had been specifically in the project of discovering the origin of dreams. He'd even assisted in creating the mechanisms that powered the portal, along with other scientists. He was the youngest in the group, extremely smart for his age. He'd been present when the 'demon', as they came to call it, stepped out and he'd been touched, being flung into the realm of light to find out for himself just all that had happened and how to deal with it. How did I get here? The first thought Carter produced upon awakening from unconciousness. The second, was a reaction the the memories that flooded in along with his reawakening upon the world. It came as a frightened gasp, a speeding of his pulse, and to force him into an upright sitting position. He remembered the strange manifestation that had walked out of the portal, how he'd been so in awe and fear all at once that his feet would not move. He'd heard a voice shout from behind him, "Carter! Get out of there!" And thats when he'd been touched.
His mind had gone dark thereafter. And now he was here.
Where was here? Carter scanned the area slowly, seeing how he was on concrete, water ahead of him and a sun setting in the sky, painting it with an orange glow off into the distance. Then he stood and turned round, setting eyes upon a marvelous sight.
Grey, chrome spires rose high into the sky, as if trying to scrape it with their sheer heighth. They varied in shape in size, some having what appeared to be antennae poking out from their tips and others, instead, with sallelites. But, the buildings weren't the only thing to behold. Zooming this way and that, weaving in and out of the spires, and some even landing, flying vehicles created a traffic flow around what appeared to be a futuristic city on the ocean. This was no Earth-based area either, at least not one the government had chosen to share with the world. Then again, he was a trusted member of the government, either this was high in the classified list or this was where the portal had led him.
Which also rose the question, how did Carter end up through the portal if he had passed out after being touched? Perhaps the apparition had cast him in? For now, he couldn't gather the answers that he would need. He'd need to explore and find out for himself. So, stiffly he moved forward, into the great city he'd awoken to.

..::Carpe Diem, it is to all who want it::.. The telling pool was a beautiful site among many and here standnig before it holding all the secrets and questions tha theld the curiousity of milions stood infront of her. She sat on the edge letting her blue eyes fish for something to stare at. Beautiful clear blue water shown her own reflection back at her, she couldn't help but smile at the interesting image she saw. It was like seeing herself for the first time, it was truely amazing. Slowly some water rose up and she un corked a vial and let the water worm is way into the vial. "Now I can use it when i really need it..." she muttered softly. ..::Carpe Noctem, is to all who go forth and take it::..
