Her little tail swished behind her as fast as she could make it go, her two toned eyes sparkled as she bit into the rip tomato. She loved the large round treats, the woman at the stand in the market knew it too.
She licked at the seeds as they oozed out, she was so happy at the moment, was a nice sunny day and she had her favorite treat. Only one thing could make it better she thought, she licked her muzzle as she lifted her head.
She'd have to find that Heru again, maybe take another walk. She lowered her head and took another bite out of the fruit, looking up at the woman she wagged her tail and let out a happy yip. Yep, he'd enjoy this..she thought with a smile.

Please stab my heart...
There were way too many people here for him. He dodged feet that were too busy making it one way to see his small frame. There was only one reason he'd risk his skin heading through the market. He needed to see Love again.
He could see why she liked it here, everything was so happy and good natured, just like she was. He sighed as he thought about her. Where on earth could she be? It seemed like he had been searching forever, but he just had to keep going, or else be might never see her again.

His scent tickled her nose, lifting her head she sniffed at the air for a long second. Her eyes darted about as she looked for him, finally spying him she let out a yip.
She gobbled up the last bit of her treat before she weaved her way towards him, tail wagging happily.
The market could be hard to weave through your first time around, but she'd done it several times before and in the blue moon she was stepped on, the stand owners were ready to scold the offender for her.
"You found me!" she smiled up at him..

He heard her yip but it took another moment for scent to reach him, and another for him to spot her colorful form. Once he did see her he was all smiles, his tail swaying happily.
"Ah, but I didn't. It appears that you've found me." He chuckled. "But I made the effort, that should count for something. It's good to see you again." He nosed her shyly, uncertain and afraid of her reaction. Something in him longed for her to accept him openly, but he just couldn't be sure.

His soft nosing made her cheeks deepen in color but that didnt stop her from licking his muzzle happily.
"Of course it counts for something..a billion brownie points." She smiled up at him once more. She looked around, it was a busy day, they would be wiser to get out of the middle of the road. "Come this way.." She said as she weaved her way towards the fruit stand, the bananas were smelling good today she thought as she paused and waited for him. "I'm very happy to see you Heru.."

He perked his ears as she licked his muzzle, his tail wagging just a bit faster.
"Oh I thought it was well worth 2 billion," He gave a fake pout, following after her. The aroma of everything around them was a bit overwhelming, but he tried to just stay concentrated on her; that wasn't too hard, not at all. He smiled at her statement, offering up a compliment, "You look stunning today, Love." He walked close to her, half because he wanted to be near her, and half because he was scared of the feet all around him.

Making it safely between the fruit stand, and a herb stand she scrunched her nose at his compliment. "The only reason for that is, because I was hoping to see you today.." Her tail wagged.
She didnt mind the many feet as long as she wasnt stepped on, it happened though. A toddler not to sure with his footing, or someone in a rush, and then there were those who carried more than they should. "Want a snack?" she asked as she looked over the fruit stand.

He chuckled. "I think you're just always gorgeous." He shrugged, glad to finally be in a safer place. Now he could just relax and talk with her.
"A snack would be quite nice. I haven't eaten yet today." He looked around at the stand. "But how will we be obtaining this 'snack'?" He wasn't as comfortable with humans as she seemed to be, and looked around uncertainly. There was no way they'd just let them have whatever they wanted, was there? That didn't seem likely.

"The stand owners here like to give me treats.." She shook her head at him with a your so silly look. "Do you like Banana's?" She asked him.
"If you do, we can get a snack here." she said motioning to the fruit stand with her nose. She liked this better, it was more quiet and they didnt have to worry about being stepped on.

He tilted his head at her question, confused. He'd only ever eaten wild berries, hot dogs from the stand owners, and dog food. "I'm not sure, I don't think I've ever tried one." He shrugged. "But I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try."
He looked up at the motioned stand and it's rainbow array of foods. It was almost daunting to someone who hadn't really had a wide range of foods before.

Her eyes widened "You've never had one before?" She stared for a second in disbelief. "They are good, they have this bright yellow skin, and when you take that way theres this firm yet creamy inside thats kinda sweet."
She turned to the stand owner, who had been chatting with a customer, she let out a soft yip before she sat back on her rump, little front paws perching up at her chest, her tail wagged happily.
The owner just laughed, reaching out she petted Love's head before looking at Heru, and commenting on what a handsome boy he was. Standing back up, she reached over and plucked a banana, offering it to Love who just barked happily.
The woman peeled the banana, breaking it in half, she offered Love a half, and Heru the other half.
Love took her half, though it was bigger than her muzzle almost. She wagged her tail..

"Nope, never had one."
He watched her curiously as she turned to the human, creeping closer timidly. He didn't like humans that weren't his own. You could have even gone as far as to say he was afraid of them, but when she spoke kindly he straightened up a bit, perking his ears and plucking the banana from her hand happily.
Love had been right, it was soft and sweet. Drool pooled inside his mouth as he held it, trotting to sit close to her. As soon as he was settled he began to nibble the fruit at first, his tail wagging contently. How could he have never had something that was this good? It was delicious!
