What about a poetry/ story contest? Users must write a poem or a short story based on a book.
Katrika was the one that came up with this contest, so if it's alright with everyone I'm going to try to host this contest. I'm also not as rich as some people on gaia so for this contest there is going to be a small entry fee of 100 gold. While the prize is going to be 500 gold, when I get more money or if I get money donation for the prize then it will be higher. For starters though it's just 500 gold. This contest starts in April since March is almost over with, but if you guys want to go ahead and start entering now that will be fine. The entry forms and entries, if the contestant wants it shown, will be in the post below this one. The cutoff date for each month and all of the winners of the contest will be in the post after the entry post.
Ok the rules and such:
1)You must write a poem/short story about a book.
2)When entering this contest you need to send me a trade of 100 gold, I prefer you to label the trade "Writing Contest" so I know what you are sending me it for.
3)After you send the trade fill out this little form for your entry:

The last part is for those who don't want their entry seen before the poll date. If this is the case for you then you need to pm me your entry and I will keep it in my inbox until the day of the poll.
4)I will accept your entry only when the trade for the entry fee is complete.
5)After I get all of the entries, after a certain date, I will put up a poll for people in the guild to vote for their favorite entry. Note: If I get a lot of entries then I will do separate poll's until we have finalists. Then I will do a poll for the finalists to see who is the winner.
6) If I get 6 or more entries then the prize will go up, that way I make no money for myself, besides what I get when other people type in my thread. So if a 6th person enters the prize will go up to 600 gold, 7 up to 700 gold and so on. I will probably only take a max of 20 entries per month. So there is less confusion.
