Here is a link to download BLACK DOG, the Hellsing OVA Series OST. Here is a second link to download it and here is a link to purchase it. Even if you should choose to download it, I suggest you purchase it if and when you can. If you like a series, you should support it by buying its merchandise. Besides, it's wonderful and totally worth it.

The sample soundtrack that was posted in this forum not too long ago featured several songs that are not included in BLACK DOG (mostly from OVAs III and IV). If you wish to compile as complete a soundtrack as possible, seek them out. When you are finished, your soundtrack should have 27 songs from OVAs I, II, III, and IV (mine does, anyway).

Edit: Oh! Ohohohoh! Finally, this has all the tracks I was looking for, including that darling little cello ditty ("Dog s**t"). I have the say, OVAs 1 and 2 had better music than 3 and 4.

Here are all available songs (so far) from the OVA series listed in chronological order and separated by OVA episode (except for "Letzte Batallion," which first appears in OVA II but which is more widely recognized as the closing song of OVA III). I am sure that "Song of DEMETER" has not (yet) appeared in an OVA episode, and I am relatively sure that "Cromwell" hasn't, either, but "Stench of Death and Splashing Blood" sounds vaguely familiar. If it someone recognizes it in an OVA episode (or if I made any mistake whatsoever), please let me know (I watched all four OVAs today to compile this list, but it is easily possible that I overlooked it). I would appreciate it.

It's in short supply and quite expensive.

Yes, but it's from third party sellers, which is really no more reliable then being on ebay or anywhere else, this is why it's so expensive.
It's really just being hosted by amazon.

Not good, I've had horrible experiences with third parties on amazon. X__x

I'd say everyones best bet to get it is to browse respectable vendors on Ebay.

I've had plenty of good experiences with third parties on Amazon, but I've had some bad ones, too. You're bound to encounter that no matter where you go.
