I'm just wondering how many people are going to end up leaving Gaia over this?
One of my accounts was permanently banned for botting that I have never done. I see many of my friends on the list of banned as well.
Most likely I will not be on Gaia much after this, and I hear many people are going to leave if their main accounts are permanently banned.

i was planning on leaving. thank god my account got unbanned today though. if i get the money i would plan on supporting people who are staying to get back on their feet but even my main wasnt that prosperious

I will (deadline this Friday). Though I might plan on making a comeback in the future (a month, a year, a decade. Who knows?), but definitely only when I've cooled down.
It's just the fact that I know 100% that I'm innocent and have done no wrongs that I'm so willing to let this go. I can't bare to have my heart broken any more from seeing that "Critical Error: your account has been blocked" every time I try to log on. If they keep thinking I've botted, then so be it. They'll just have broken the heart and soul of an innocent Gaian... what's one user to them. I'm tired of fighting... I've lost sleep over this, haven't been able to keep food down, getting nightmares (crazy, I know, but not many know how I feel at this point). If they finalize my banning without proof that I've actually botted (which they'll find none, because I've never botted in my whole history of a Gaian), I'll take my leave reluctantly.

I'm giving it until Friday. I'd actually said my goodbyes, but my friend sent me the link to appeal it. I'm just tired of it all. -.-

I just wish they would come up with some proof instead of just accusations. I know I have never botted, so I am curious to know what has happened.
I vend on that account some, and I fish on that account some. In early February I started a junk trophy run with that account, but actually stopped because they weren't cleaning out the bots in the junk scoreboard. neutral
Does anyone have a clue as to how these accounts have gotten supposed botting on them? I thought maybe I bought something while vending, but they said to me that's not a permanent ban offense.
I feel horrible for some of these people. I have only been here 9 months, others have been on here years. It feels like a betrayal to me. sad

don't give up. u can get your account back. be persistent and file your forms. if worse comes to worse, tell the admins you reported gaia to the BBB.

*IF* I don't get my main back... then I definitly will leave. But I'll be really unhappy to have to go... I really miss my Herme's Moons (even bought the first one with cash) and Coco... and Halo... *sigh*.
Couldn't they at least have some communication with someone about botting before just banning them like this. sad

Aside from this guild, I've pretty much already left. Put a big goodbye notice in the profile of all my accounts. Getting my account back really didn't change anything for me, since I still don't know why it was banned in the first place, so I have to assume that if I keep doing things on Gaia (and maybe even if I don't), I'll get banned again. Maybe I'll get more active again someday, but if I do I hope it will be because Gaia announced a bigass fix to their banning policy.

Actually I belive leaving gaia would be the right thing to do, because getting my account back dosn`t change that treating users like they did (accausing users of botting, banning them for no reason at all, without letting them know why, so they don´t even have the right to tell them their side of the story...) is just wrong. They really can´t handel things like that, it`s insane.
However Ì am not leaving. I always knew the "rumors" about innocent usere getting banned, and even more, I always belived gaia obviously is that unfair, and that all that stories aren´t just rumors! I didn´t leave than and I don`t leave now. Why? I don`t really know this myself, but what sense would there be for fighting to get my account back just in order to leave then?

I was going to leave, but this account still had an OMG in the storage, and so I wasn't going to give up Gaia.
If I didn't have this account, I might've left Gaia and only coming back for the big releases.
