We may be here to celebrate the very adorable couple that is Zeris, but we all know it's not the only couple we enjoy. So use this thread to chat about other couples you like. From Final Fantasy games, or other stories. We want to hear them all! (It's another way for us to get to know you better.) XD

Here are some of my favorites (Not all FFs):
AerisxTseng. When I first played the game I fell in love with the Turks, especially Tseng. And finding out he had feelings for Aeris, I instantly thought that he was meant to be Aeris' love interest. Obviously learning about Zeris made me see otherwise, but I'll always think this pairing is very adorable.
BalthierxAshe. I saw this as hinted at through the entire game, and the lyrics of "Kiss Me Goodbye" really scream this pairing to me.
CelesxLocke. They were just so awesome together. XD
TerraxGeneral Leo. Just that line she says at the end always made me believe she'd carry a torch for him. That he impacted her life greatly and she'd never forget.
RikuxKairi. Screw Sora, Riku works much harder and goes through heck for that woman. XP
PeneloxLarsa. I was actually shocked that Penelo wasn't being his "queen" at the end of the game. Just felt so sure they were actually going to be a couple. And come on... SO adorable! XD
LuigixDaisy. Hehe... LIKE FROM THE MOVIE OMG! XD
LukexMara. Jedi Hero and Dark Jedi falling in love... what couldn't be cuter?!?
HatsumixRyoki. Anybody read HotGimmick? OMG, I'm in love with Ryoki. I hated how by the end the author made it apparent that she didn't like her own character and wanted Hatsumi to be with her brother. Gross! XP

I like Clotif because that was the pairing that made most sense to me. I also like Vincent and Yuffie because it's cute. xd Plus they have a whole game with them in it that's supposed to have some hints that they'll be a couple. I never played it so I wouldn't know. Cid and Shera is nice and it's the only actual pairing that happened in the FFVII world.
Other pairings I like outside the FFVII world:
1. Tidus and Yuna
2. Light and L
3. Link and Marrin
4. Zelda and Ganandorf (just in my own messed up world, I don't think it would actually happen)
5. Haseo and anyone except the AIs and Piros the Third
Pairing that I randomly made up while trying to think of the oddest pairing in the FFVII world: Wedge and Sephiroth

Ooh...I never thought of LarsaxPenelo! eek Now that I think about it....I've always thought they looked kinda cute together but I never thought of them as a possible couple! Hmm....food for thought....
Fav pairings!
Cloti: Obviously, haha. Those who like Cloti I believe would like Zeris on the side too. My main reason: When I first played the game I thought it was obvious that they were a couple. (Plus, I hated Aeris back then which only ignited me to ignore her and be mean to her every possible way.) I could go on, but this is a Zeris Guild, haha.
VinTif: I know a lot of people object to this couple....quite vehemently too which I don't understand why. I believe that, if Tifa never did get together with Cloud, Vincent would be the next candidate. (Sounds kinda weird.) It seemed obvious to me because they had striking similarities as well as differences. Vincent, the more melancholy and self-pitiful man. Tifa, the gentle, caring, and compassionate woman. Tifa is able to give Vincent nurture and love while Vincent would depend on her, cling to her warmth. Both have lost (assuming that Cloti is nonexistent) their love and that similarity allows them to find companionship. Also, in the game itself, Vincent is shown to favor her more than anyone else besides Cid and Cloud.
SephxTif: Guilty pleasure, lol! xd *Coughs* It's a sort of sadistic kind of pleasure.
ZackxTif: I think they could hit it off extremely well if they ever had a chance to get to know each other. biggrin Well, considering that Zack is a player, he could hit it off with any woman, but I believe that he would treasure her. biggrin
SephxAer: Blame Sakuya for getting sucked into it! xd Also a guilty and sadistic pleasure, haha!
I'm not usually a yaoi fan...
CloudxZack: After reading a doujinshi about them, I was like, yeah! They would make a perfect couple! (Without all the sex and stuff.)
VinxSeph: ............Guilty pleasure............
Other pairings:
AlbelxNel from Star Ocean (I can get quite obsessed......)
HaseoxEndrance from .hack//GU (Lol. xd Just for kicks.)
HaseoxAlkaid (I like the strong women as you can see. biggrin Might be why I favor Tifa.)
LauresxHilda from Seimaden (I just got into it recently.....such a beautiful manga...)
YayoixUra from Mugen Spiral (I like the manga that don't get much recognition for some reason.)
MustangxHawkeye from FMA
Err...I have a lot of pairings.....just can't think of them all at the moment. xd
I've heard an even stranger pairing...Cait and Sephiroth. eek And anyone with Hojo is just sick. Why Lucrecia?! Why did you have to run off with that madman?!! crying Pretty gals aren't supposed to go near butt-ugly scientists!

Final Fantasy VII:
CloTi. D'AWWWW. I'm also a Vincent and Yuffie fan, but I don't ship them as ferociously as I do the former pairing. Cleris, to a point.
Reno and Elena as well, for some unholy reason.
Final Fantasy X:
Tidus x Yuna. D'AWWWW, again. Also like some Wakka x Lulu and Yunalesca x poor sap that was her husband.
Final Fantasy XII:
Vaan x Penelo. She is the only woman in the Dalmascan hemisphere who could look past his skull density and love him for it. Balthier x Fran, too, I adore, though I imagine them together before the game. It's just that Balthier is constantly reminded that Fran is mortal, and needs his attention. Basch x Ashe as well, because I still have a thing for knights and princesses. Yeah, I know.
Kingdom Hearts:
Sora x Kairi. Again with the princesses.
... don't get me started on Axel and Roxas. My first male/male infatuation.

It's weird about LarsaxPenelo. I seriously thought it was so obvious by the way they interact. As I said, I was expecting the two of them to be together at the end. XP
I never liked BalthierxFran, only because I always saw them as the closest of companions, rather than lovers. And plus, Fran is probably one of the only women alive who can see past his charm... I know I can't. XP *drools*

Haha, if there's any couple that I felt was obvious, it'd be Vaan and Penelo. biggrin And I have the same reason as Talim-Hime for liking them, lol!
But it'd be so interesting to see LarsaxPenelo! whee *Gasp* And her being his "queen" or something......*fantasizes* That's so cute! eek It's official...this couple is on my list too. xd
I like BalthierxFran. biggrin I can see them as lovers but I see them more as closest companions. *Secretly drools for Balthier too* Who could create a sexier man? Just mention Balthier to any girl who played FFXII and "OMG, *SQUEE*"

Balthier is so Mary Sue it's digusting... and yet... I can't stop loving him. XD That voice! Too bad the voice actor is oogly. XP
Next time you play FFXII, just watch the way Penelo and Larsa react to each other... there's definitly something there. XP Though Revenant Wings does show VaanxPenelo. Which is good too in my opinion.

I'm not a huge fan of Vaan and Penelo though...to me they seem too much like siblings (even if they aren't related). I'm not finished with the game yet, so I don't really have too much of a set opinion. Penelo and Larsa would be cute though. ^^
Cait and Sephiroth? That is weird, especially if you mean the doll. xd

Let's see...
1. Aerith X Tseng.
my favorite Turk and my favorite female character. ^^ I always imagined Tseng being sorta the stalkerish type, especialy with her. This is also my 2nd favorite pairing, very closely after Aerith X Zack.
2. Tifa X Cloud.
Aerith and Cloud? Um.. no. deffinetly Tifa. Their babies would be so cute.
3. Tseng X Elana.
We all know Elana already had a HUGE crush on Tseng, and i'm sure that neer the end of Disk one, Tseng was starting to check her out too. Too cute. I heart Turks.
3. Yuffie X Vincent.
Enough said.
4. Rosa and Cecil.
The obvious couple in FFIV. My favorite White Mage of all time, and my 4th favorite male character. ^^ I just love the way that the game ended for those two.
5. Balthier X Fran.
Balthier is hot and so is Fran. Wonderful.
6. Lenne X Shuyin.
I hated FF X-2, but I LOVE Lenne, and the whole love story with Shuyin... oh, it makes me cry just about every time I hear the song 1000 Words.
7. Rosa X Kain.
as much as I adore Cecil X Rosa, I think I adore Kain with her just as much. Poor Kain. I always felt really bad for him. but he and Adult Ridia are retty nice together too. O_o Which brings me to this one as well;
8. Adult Ridia X Kain.
Enough said.
