Real Name: Elizabeth Braddock
Alias: Psylocke
Gender: Female
Hair: Black, (dyed purple) (current body), Blond (original body)
Eyes: Violet, (current body), Blue (original body)
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 155 lbs (70 kg)
Strength: Psylocke at best classified as being able to lift/press about twice her own weight of 155lbs according to the Official Power Grid ratings posted on Marvel.com. However, the discrepancies lie in that sources say that Psylocke has been known to use he telekinetic expertise to enhance several traits; speed, fighting skills, AND strength to superhuman levels. If this is indeed correct, superhuman strength is placed between 800lbs to 25 tons at best. My personal estimation is that Psylocke is at best capable of pressing 900lbs at most via telekinetic augmentation.
Speed: It is a bit difficult to say that Psylocke can enhance her speed to anything just above that an Olympic class athlete ala Captain America. I doubt her actual travel speed would fall into the category of even class 3 for superhuman which ranges up to 700mph. Her combat speed on the other hand, therein may be where the strength of enhancing her speed via telekinetic augmentation may lie. Her reflexes.
Durability/Endurance: Psylocke's endurance/durability strength is that she's highly resistant to reality warping, psionic, and to some degree magical effects or manipulations. As far as conventional physical attacks I wouldn't place her above an enhanced level of durability. She can probably recover faster than your average person due to the high level of kinetic manipulation her body possesses but she still falls far short of being a healing factor level individual.
Intellect: Psylocke possesses nothing beyond that of "learned" intelligence. She worked as a charter pilot post-graduating from high school unlike her brother Brian, better known as Captain Britain. She likely possesses a great understanding of conventional curriculum but doesn't have any specialized talent in any one subject or all anything genius in them as a whole.
Fighting Skill: This is Psylocke's bread and butter. She has mastered several forms of combat, though it is not known which specific fighting styles. However, it is assumed that she has mastered several Ninjustu techniques such as Taijustu and Ninjaken. Her combat ability surpasses those of an average ninja of The Hand or one under the influence of the Crimson Dawn. Her skills are said to rival those of a ninja master.
Known Powers: Psylocke like Professor X, Phoenix, Rachel Summers, Emma Frost, etc. originally possessed telepathic capabilities along with telekinetic abilities. Her powers encompassed the following.
Formerly, she was able to manipulate and affect the minds of other sentient beings as well as read minds and communicate with them over great distances in which she would be perceived as a butterfly bearing large eyes on it's wings. Psylocke was also able to telepathic track other sentient being via the emanations they give off especially if they posed a threat to her. She could create telepathic illusions that made others perceive her as invisible or alter her appearance even to resemble that of someone else or even make people experience incidents that were not happening in actuality. She was able to cause mental or physical paralysis. Likewise she was able to cause severe trauma, unconsciousness, or even death and she could erase specific memories from the mind if not all memories together resulting in total amnesia. Under the influence of the Crimson Dawn she gained the ability to mask her presence from other telepaths and was able to extend this trait to hide others. Psylocke formally had the power of precognition via dreams which allowed her to envision probable future events, if not quick flashes of the future, though there were random, infrequent, and involuntary. Finally she was able to project her astral form on the astral plane and in the physical plane. In the astral plane she was able to create psionic objects and manipulate the aspects of her environment. Under the Crimson Dawn her astral from was normally undetectable much like her ability to conceal herself telepathically from other high order telepaths in general the Shadow King being one example.
In order to seal away the Shadow King Psylocke effectively sacrificed her telepathic abilities which encompasses all of the aforementioned. However, in an attempt by Phoenix (Jean Grey-Summers) to restore her telepathy, Psylocke gained greatly enhanced telekinetic abilities in turn which Phoenix gained Psylocke's share of telepathic abilities. Furthermore, Psylocke's telekinetic abilities and strength has further increased after her resurrection.
Psylocke is now a high level telekinetic able to psionically manipulate the aspects of reality. She is also able to levitate people, other objects, as well as herself over great distances like other telekinetics do, though she has shown little inclination to do the latter in combat situations. At first due to the trouble she had adjusting to the high level of telekinetic power she possesses, Psylocke had trouble exercising fine control over her powers. She was much better at using her powers in forceful ways such as blasting through a brick wall rather than delicate ways like levitating a dime across the room. To this day she still finds the former easier though she has learned to fully control her enhanced powers proficiently. She can even reshape a pistol into smaller metal projectiles and likewise can manipulate matter in standard telekinetic fashion. She is able to create telekinetic shields of various sizes and strength and her telekinetic force blasts are sufficient enough to shatter mountains.
Instead of her psychic knife that she's notorious for manifesting, Psylocke now manifests a telekinetic katana composed of raw psionic energy. At it's lowest intensity it is can disrupt neural pathways and sever the bonds between molecules. At it's highest intensity it can slice through almost any physical matter such as an opponent's armor but only render them stunned or unconscious. The katana can also affect beings that are more powerful than Psylocke herself. She can also use her katana to shatter telepathic power-inhibitors imposed on others, despite her own lack of telepathy. However with no telepathy to guide her she must rely on her own instincts to give the blade sufficient enough energy to shatter the inhibitors without doing permanent damage to the subject in question.
During the time line shift, caused by the Scarlet Witch, known as House of M, Psylocke was able to summon two telekinetic katana simultaneously. However, it is not known whether she is capable this under default conditions or if this was the result of empowerment by House of M.
As previously stated, Psylocke is known to be capable of using her telekinesis to enhance her strength, speed, and fighting skill to that of superhuman levels. Through this she was able to match opponents with a strength level of Sabertooth (a Danger Room holographic projection) and Rogue during a training session, despite the fact that Rogue had greatly enhanced speed and strength at the time.
Marvel Girl (Rachel Summers) once stated that Psylocke's telekinetic abilities surpasses her own.
Since her resurrection by her brother Jamie, Psylocke is completely resistant to telepathic effects; mind-reading, mind-control or mental attacks, and any attempts at telepathic communication. It is known that she's able to resist the likes of the Savage Land Mutate known as Vertigo's disorientation power or Nocturne's mind possession likewise anyone else possessing this ability. Furthermore, she is immune to or at least highly-resistant to physical and mental alteration by being who can radically restructure reality which includes Proteus. She was also unaffected when the Scarlet Witch unleashed a reality warp that re-wrote history and was able to maintain Marvel Girl III's status as well. Paradoxically, her newfound immunity did not prevent her from being incorporated into the effects of House of M also caused by the Scarlet Witch. However, it is said that her immunity to reality warps is due to the manipulation of the quantum strings that comprise her body when she was resurrected.
She has recently gained to power to render herself invisible, though to what extent she can control this power or the nature of it remain an enigma.
Weapons: Katana.
