*THUD* "Ooowww~."
A crash and a small whine came from behind a table in the back room of the laboratory. Seiaeka had been rummaging though a large steel case that contained many mysterious goods from Mysteel, when the lid had fallen directly onto her head as the case decided to spontainiously shut itself.
The woman slowly came up from behind the desk, tears streaming down her cheeks and biting her lip and a red welt on the top of her head. It looked quite comical really.
She sighed and dusted herself off. The new lab was filled with dust as the buildings hadn't been used in some time, but they were adequate none the less, and she had wondered why they wern't being used. There was a story behind them, oh yes of course, otherwise she would have normally chosen something else; but Seiaeka had a soft spot for mysteries, and just couldn't resist. So she ended up buying these strange buildings just off the coast of Orthran City on an realtively nicely sized island, connected by a new bridge to the city.

Ashe stepped off of the bus and stared up at place Ms. Seiaeka had told him to come. Sighing he headed up the steps slowly and made his way into the building, looking around timidly before pulling out a piece of paper and stared at it.
He headed down a few hallways and then stopped at a door, staring at it for a moment. He knocked at it for a moment, and then opened the door. "Ms. Seiaeka?" He called softly, shuffling into the room.

Still rubbing her head, her magically hidden elven ears twitched slightly at the sound of someone approaching, judging by the walk, it was the timid Ashe. Grinning slightly, she skuttled over to the door, and as soon as the door was opened, "HIII Ashe!~" she called out from right behind him.
Seiaeka had been away for a little while with only the Ancient child Ashe had dropped off to keep her company, and well, of course, sleeping bodies wern't much company, so she was starved for human contact.

"WAAAGH!" Ashe let out a rather loud scream and jumped at least a foot in the air, nearly crashing to the ground. His normally perfectly smoothe tail was puffy like a raccoon, even his hair on his head was puffed up.
"D-d-d-don't do that!" He whined, clutching at his heart while he stared at her with wide, frightened eyes.

Seiaeka laughed musically as she reached out and helped him up, "Sorry, I just couldn't resist, I assume you're here to pick up your child?" she said, still chuckling a little.

"P-P-Please resist next time?" He practically begged, taking her hand and stepping up. He began to subconsciously smoothe out his tail once standing. "Y-y-yes." He nodded a little, puffyness going down a little.

"Hrmmm?" she watched him for a moment, slightly amused, and then turned, leading him farther into the building to a large steel door that opened automatically. "Your child was ready some time ago, but since you wern't around and I've been so busy, I've put her into stasis," he babbled as the walked up to a large tank that resembled a giant, upside-down Soul Case. Suspended in the center, in ways unknown to anyone other than Seiaeka, was a small child with green hair and adorned with a simple kimono; she appeared to be alseep, curled up in the air.

"S-s-sorry... I had a f-f-family emergency." He mumbled, feeling guilty for not being around when the child was ready. "She's very pretty... It's a she, right? I get gender confused..." He commented, staring at her with a slight look of awe.

Seiaeka smiled softly, "Yes, she's a girl," she said, stepping up to the console and typing in a few commands as the maching whirred softly to life, the magic on the child dissapating and slowly waking her up and placing her on the base on the tank, standing. "Oh I hope she turned out nice and quiet, we need someone mroe reserved around her other than Ara," he said mostly to herself than to Ashe. The tank opened up by rising into the air and leaving a space for the child to step out.

"Ara? Oh.. that man that was with the other man that tried to grab my tail..." Ashe frowned a little, remembering Zagore and Ara back at the fall festival. Ohhh Zagore really got on his nerves.
Ashe watched as the little girl sat up and looked around, blinking her eyes sleepily.
She stood up slowly, yawning a little and then stepped out into the room, looking from Ashe to Seiaeka and then back again. For the moment she seemed calm enough...

"Dah uh... H-h-hello, I'm Ashe..." He stammered, an embarrassed blush crossing his face.
"Echo." She stated, pointing at herself. She looked Ashe over, eyes resting on his tail. That seemed to attract most of her interest because a few minutes later she reached out and grabbed it with surprising speed. Luckily she didn't squeeze or pull.
"G-g-gentle please!" Ashe squeaked, nervously watching her as she pet his tail and examined it.

Seiaeka stayed back, observing the child from afar, tapping away at a PDA as she rapidly took notes. She wasn't fond of using too much technology, but found the data storage terribly useful and speedier than writing everything out. She gave a sharp intake of breath as 'Echo' reached out and grabbed Ashe's tail, but sighed with relief as she noticed the child wasn't harming him at all. It seemed she was much gentler than Refia, noting that it was probabaly something to do with the properties of the combined materials used to create her.
"Well, shall we have tea.. and milk?" she added the last part, noting that Ashe was, in fact, a catboy.

Echo pet Ashe's tail a bit more before letting it go and staring over at Seiaeka. "Tea?" She tilted her head, a pleasant smile spreading over her face. Maybe she didn't know what tea was, but the sound of the word was nice enough sounding that it pleased her.
Ashe's ears perked up as soon as he heard the word 'milk', and all stress from having his tail grabbed faded away. "Th-that sounds nice." He replied, grinning a little.
