Okay, let's keep this short and sweet.
1. We do not follow the 3 strikes and you're out policy. Slander/Liable, racism, sexism, and any other forms of discrimination will not be tolerated. Anyone caught doing such an act, in or out of the guild will be expelled immediately without warning. No exceptions.
2. Stay on topic. Everyone is free to post wherever they like, and create topics. However, you will be given two warnings, on your third offense of breaking topic, you will be banned.
3. No Repeat Topics. As an extension to rule 2, be attentive to stickies and subforum topics. Upon breaking this rule, you're topic will be deleted, and you will be given a warning.
4. Do not be arrogant! Being a college or university student or graduate, nor having experience and knowledge of psychology, sociology, or anything else, does not make you smarter or better than anyone else. Depending on the severity of your arrogance, you may or may not recieve a warning before being banned.
5. Be respectful. As with rule 4, you may or may not get warnings, depending on how frequent, severe, and consistent the disrespect is.
6. All new members must submit an introductory profile before posting in the forums. If you fail to do so you will be given one warning. If you continue to post without submitting one, you will be kicked. This rule is enforced so that people know each other properly, and your intro can be very brief; even just copy and paste the personal info submitted in your join request.
7. Proper spelling and grammer is a must. If you are unsure, use a dictionary. There are plenty of free ones online. If english is not your first language, please state so in your introductory profile and we will be lenient.
8. And of course the Gaia TOS. Anyone breaking any of these will be expelled from the guild, and reported to an Gaia moderator.
Rules for Moderators
1. All mods must follow the user rules as well, and will not be given any warnings if they break any of them. You will be demoted immediately, and depending on the rule broken, expelled as well. If you are not expelled, you will become a regular member. If you wish to stay, you may have a chance to redeem yourself.
2. You are not permitted to ban anyone. You may give warnings. If you do, you must inform me of the warning so that I can keep track and administer punishment if necessary.
