. . . . . . . . . .The purpose of this? Well I noticed how old the RP's are in this guild and thought we could start a new with some fresh ideas. Do you agree, ne? Well go ahead and post anything plot or idea related and all of us can compromise. This way everyone is happy. Don't be so shy! I'm sure none of us will bite your heads off if we don't like it. There's bound to be people that like them.
Also, in order to keep RP's from dying lets try to keep up with them. If your gone have a dedicated member of the RP explain what's going on. Like a character you see and want dibs? Ask the person if they'd approve of the pairing. You two could plan something. I don't know about you but I find that pleasant and convenient. . . . . . . . . . .

I think this is a wonderful idea FrailDoll. I don't have any ideas to put forward at the moment but I'm sure I will soon enough. I thank you for taking the time to post such here.

I have an idea about a night club dancer who's actually an incubus (demon who feeds off sexual energy). I'm not sure if anyone on here would be interested in that, though.

I don't really have a plot quite yet, just the character and a general idea surrounding him. He thinks commitment and monogamous relationships are stupid. It would be interesting if someone could convince him otherwise. He's a character I created for a web comic, but he needs some development, and I find the easiest way to do that is to RP with them.

Well, is there anything in particular your looking for in a setting. Like the characters around him besides those that would be in the area where he worked. Anyplace you can imagine him going. What time period do you see him in exactly? If you stick with the night club dancer thing I can only imagine modern times with that unless it's something not so modern. Then I suppose that would mean, if it's in modern times, demons and such would coexist with regular people.

Then I suppose that would mean, if it's in modern times, demons and such would coexist with regular people. Yeah, it would be modern, set in a big city of some sort (Like New York, only it would probably remain an unnamed random city that could be anywhere). He's supposed to have been alive since, like, ancient Greece, so he's very worldly but the only thing he thinks he's any good at is seducing people. So mostly he stays to the night club circuit to avoid getting into a situation that he's not comfortable or familiar with. He has some inhuman traits so he tends not to go out in the daytime because he's embarrassed about them now that there aren't demons around as much as there used to. So it wouldn't necessarily mean that demons and regular people coexisted, even though that's possible.

I think that there would be demons around among humans, but they're probably an extreme minority. Whether or not they live openly or in hiding doesn't matter too much, at least I don't really care either way. My character has longish elf-like ears, purple eyes, and a tail like a unicorn or a lion. Other than that he appears completely human. But I imagine that hes one of the older demons around, so he's been though more torment in his life than the others, so he's rather paranoid, which is why he doesn't go out much. He pretty much works in order to get the sexual energy he needs to survive, and money to afford somewhere to live. He wouldn't really want to interact with strangers because he's afraid of how they would react to finding out he's not human, so tends to stick around the people he knows and trusts, but that's not to say that he wouldn't talk to a stranger, especially at work when he can claim that his strange traits are just makeup. He's only shy when he's not working.

So are you trying to make a role-play that just includes him? If so are you thinking a one-on-one kind of thing or something with more then you and another person. I'm thinking that whatever has him in it should be more focused on him. I personally am a fan of the inhuman types so I'm always up for anything or just about. Depends on the storyline.

I'd like to do a roleplay with him but I don't have much of a plot thought out. I'm fine with one-on-one or multi-character, though with him, like you said, It would probably be better to do a one-on-one so you could focus more on his emotional problems. It would be interesting for him to meet someone, human or not (though preferably human), who falls in love and wants to convince him that committed monogamous relationships aren't as bad as he thinks they are, and that he can survive without sleeping with anything on two legs.

When you say fall in love your referring to the character that's not yours is the one who falls for someone or your character in particular? Does he have any friends or is he like lonely in that particular way where he lives alone? How about his coworkers, does anyone really know him well? How do others see him that watch him work? Does he have any special powers that go with seducing people.

I did mean for the other character to fall in love with my character, though, which would be why they're so determined to make him think better about relationships. My character doesn't have very many close friends, although I would say he knows the other employees at the club pretty well. The owner is probably his closest friend, knows what he is and why he has to work somewhere like that. He has some mild seducing powers, but nothing too extreme, or at least nothing extreme that he uses.

I don't really like to tell people what character I want to play across from. I like to let them be creative so it could really be almost anything. First time visitor or a regular, doesn't really matter to me. Whomever is playing it should get to use a character they're comfortable with. Mild seducing powers... Hmm. I'm not really sure how to describe that other than what it is. It's not like something he can control very much, just a sort of aura/feeling that makes people more attracted or makes it easier for him to seduce them. Sure, throw plot ideas at me, since all I have right now is the falling in love thing. Which might be fine to start with, I don't know what you're used to getting before your start.
