Use multiple tabs and/or log on to a mule account at the same time as your main in another browser? I'm starting to wonder if that might not perhaps be some sort of link to them thinking we're botting... but then again it could be coincidence, just like everything else so far.

I use multiple tabs for when I fish and vend, but I don't log on to multiple accounts.

I've done it with my two accounts, one on Firefox while the other was on IE.
And I use multiple tabs a lot (I go to the forums and open interesting threads in new tabs).
Maybe you're right. I hope they never make this mistake again. Or at least if they do, they should make an announcement so that people who don't go to the forums will know what's going on with their account.

i have two accounts open at once on different tabs so i can trade between main and mule. that shouldnt be a crime.

I utilize multiple tabs every time I'm on Gaia. I've only logged on using two accounts at the same time using Firefox and IE once. It would be rather stupid for them to assume you're botting from that alone. That would mean that they're assume only one person in one's residence uses Gaia..which could be erroneous in most cases. How would they know if it's not just a roommate, sibling, etc.?
There was mention in the ATA that they have plans to make it where one can specify which account is their main and mules. Think they said once they have the system in place it would allow one's main to gain more gold than mules (or something like that). I just wonder if they'll wind up putting a cap on mules once such a system is in place.

I use multiple tabs all the time when I use the internet, on Gaia and elsewhere. I'd actually thought that maybe that was part of the reason I got flagged for botting and have tried to make sure I only have one tab open if possible for the past couple of days sweatdrop
I had tried using multiple browsers to trade between my main and mule once, but it was so much more of a hassle (IE sucks, sorry lol) that I gave up on it after the first try.

I use multiple tabs, but one for my profile (listen to music)
Then I use the others for Gaia, and Tek Tek :3
espeacially when Im in the Marketplace, looking for cheap items, too sell high.

I have two computers side by side both at home and at work, so I typically put one account in each rather than two browsers on one system. But at least at home, both machines are connected through the same gateway, so I'm sure that looks the same as two browsers on the same machine to Gaia.

I just have tabs open... one for my guild, one for the marketplace.... and then a window open for whatever game I might be playing

there was a post in the Q&A about multiple tabs. having multiple tabs open does not look like botting. they can tell the difference..

I almost never logged into my other account before (halcon desplumado) but I always have many tabs open and refresh the threads of my interest in order to see new answers.
I have a friend who is often in multiple accounts and wasn't banned u.u.
BTW, I hope you get your accounts back soon =(

I have pondered on a lot of things since the bannings on march 10th. If anyone's interested, I posted 3 very long entries in my mule's journal. Go look up Lazy_Eyed_Psycho and read through it. I touch on this as well as many other things. I'd be also interested to get comments on this because I want to know how many others do the things listed in there.

I like opening a lot of tabs but I don't go on my mule while on my main since my computer goes messed up. I go on them one at a time.

Well, I have asked a few admins about this just to see what they have to say. I hope they don't get angry at me bugging them with it, but if it would be a problem surfing this way I would like to be aware and to help make others aware of it. The omni-mod I pmed has said it should not show up as botting, but I'd just like to her it from an admin as well then. sweatdrop
Because I honestly can't think of anything else... I have a very methodical way of surfing Gaia each day and maybe that can look like botting, I don't know. When it comes to daily chance I always log in my mules and main one by one in the same order, one account at a time I'll open all the sections in separate tabs, then one by one I'll click the daily chance, then one by one check what I got and close it. When I'm at home I'll often log in with a mule at the same time as my main in a separate browser. That's all I can come up with. I've also been buying a lot of kitty slippers so I've been refreshing that item's listings in the marketplace very rapidly trying to get the best deals... they were supposed to be an investment, but now most of them are stuck on my main. confused

I think I was banned because I got this site saying "Slow Down!" mad
I didin't know it was an indicator for them for botters. I won't refresh ever xDD
