Ok I'm pretty sure this should go here but if not then I'm sorry sweatdrop
Well first things first, just recently I asked the girl I love out a few days ago and today she finally said yes to me (and of course this made me happy beyond all belief heart ) but I know even though she's bi she does prefer guys and since I've known her for about 3 years it's a little awkward on both our sides but more so on hers. So I was just wondering, since this is really kind of strange for, what exactly should I do? Like should I really take things slow and make sure I don't scare her away or what?

Hello!
Hmm, well, I think your best bet for now is to take it slowly, at least on your first date. But there's one advantage of knowing eachother for 3 years before diving into a relationship; you know each other already.
Perhaps the best advice I can give you is this: Communicate!
Talk to her about whether she wants to take it slow, what she wants to get out of a relationship, etc. etc... And also, respect her wishes (but I think you already understood that one).

While there aren't any really juicy details yet but I did spend the night at her house after the movie. It was kind of funny though when we told her mom we'd be sleeping in the same bed. She kinda freaked out on us and told us to blow up an air mattress instead of both sleeping the bed. So we blew that up and just both slept on that xd I was really hoping her mom would wake us up in the morning instead of her dad so she could see us cuddling and stuffs, but oh well, it was still quite fun! smile
