"All that we see or seem, Is but a dream within a dream." It didn't seem very Zeris until the information that Zack had bought it for her was leaked out! A present from Zack, and Aeris wears it... for the rest of her life! rofl Even after death, she still wears his gift to her. I find it funny that a lot of Cleris fans tend to associate pink and ribbons with the pairing CloudXAeris, but pink and ribbons seems to fit Zeris much more, in my opinion. In CC, Aeris said,
"I'll wear it every day"
I guess she really held true to that, even when Zack didn't come back. Even when she continued to live. It wasn't even a promise to wear it, but she still does. Now, I think this shows her longing for Zack, I mean really. She changes her outfit for him and wears a ribbon. For some reason I get the feeling this isn't just because the creators wanted to "connect games". ;3

I always had a feeling that the ribbon had something to do with them. I was so excited when I got to that scene in the game. Deffietly a "squee" moment.
However, I have to disagree... Aerith doesn't exactly wear it even in death. remember? it fell out when Sephy stabbed her, along with the White Materia. When Cloud dumped her body in the lake, her hair was down.
But... I guess since she DID wear it in Advent Children... I dont know. I'm just kinda ranting.
I do think it's rather nice that she used the ribbon to keep the Materia safe.

When she gets stabbed her ribbon is out, but then when it shows Cloud again her ribbon is in again. xD Then, when Cloud puts her into the water it is gone once again. (They must have a glitch in the game during that part, lol.) But yeah, I always wondered how and why Aeris still had the ribbon Zack gave to her in AC, when it fell out in FFVII. ;O Maybe Zack gave it to her again, in the lifestream! I can so see that, very cute. I actually drew a picture of him doing that, lol.

Or maybe the way you look in the lifestream is based on how you want to look... since I don't think things need to be physical there. So even though it's not on her physical dead body... it's still a part of her, that she wants to wear always, so therefore it's on her respresentation of herself in the lifestream.
I definitly think this is even more Zeris evidence and evidence that she's confused with Cloud. What girl wouldn't want to move on after all that time right? And she finds a guy SO errily similar. I won't deny Aeris "wants" to move on. But really...
I have a necklace from my boyfriend he gave me over 6 years ago. If he disppeared, and I decided to wear it, I think that would prove I was holding a torch for him. And then if I decided to try and find someone new, but went on dates with them wearing it... I dunno. That seems to me like I wouldn't be over him.
That's the impression Aeris is giving to me. XD

After I saw that scene, I was practically screaming ZERIS. I think its funny that he bought her the ribbon, and she wore it from then on. Just like how he suggested she sell flowers, and she continued to do that as well. I love how some things Zack started, Aeris continued to do heart

Oh! Hey, do you guys think that Aeris noticed that Cloud had Zack's sword at all? I mean, she had seen Zack with it multiple times. O_O

Lol, and I doubt that if you were brutally murdered with limbs hanging off, you would look like that in the lifestream. xd Kinda scary...Zack full of bullet holes and Aeris with a nasty stab. So spiritually, I think they just draw up from what they looked like before their death but since it's spiritual, they could also choose their own forms. Very interesting...

Haha! xD Ribbon. I've noticed, though, the ribbon Zack gives her has little tails on it. But the one she wears in FFVII and AC has no tails... o-o;;
Why does this remind me of a tadpole turning into a frog?!?! ... growing up, maybe...? Maturing? That's it. It's gotta be that.
I think it's cute that she wears it FOREVER. It's almost like she is holding a torch for Zack, but not letting him in. xD It's silly. I can imagine Zack making fun at her and joking flirtatiously that she's still wearing a ribbon that he bought her.
