One of the best things out there is cosplay, and I noticed this guild is lacking a cosplay thread!
So, if you cosplay, post your pictures here! Or any pictures of Shikamaru and Neji, seperatly or together!

I like the third pic. I think I commented it on dA.
Just a side-note: I personally don't like cosplay/cosplayers unless they do a really good job. Oh, and have a body type that matches the character they cosplay. I've seen way too many morbidly obese Narutos. gonk
-Does not want to post a picture of Shikamaru and Neji standing together where the Neji looks like he's stoned-
That would look weird if Neji were high/a pothead. Pale eyes with a hint of red in the background. If that doesn't scream "I'm gonna rape you and your dead family", I don't know what does.

I think all the pics are pretty good- you can tell you put effort into it, like in the background and all.

I mean, if the only people who could cosplay were people of ideal and manga style body shapes, it would be a little unfair on those who couldn't help their size, or even colour. All the characters in Naruto are mainly causican, but I still think someone with black skin can do an awesome cosplay job, and have fun too xD
I just don't think limiting cosplay to exact body shapes is fair on all people, but I do know what you mean :3

I agree a bit about the whole cosplay thing. Peops should be able to cosplay whoever they wanna cosplay at- makes it fun. That said, though, when you're going for who looks the "most authentic/believeable/realistic" would tend to be someone who fit a certain character's body shape/build, just because of their looks and body shape similarity to the characters.
With blacks...yeah, I guess they could...but I dun know that many blacks who are into anime; it's mostly caucasion kids and, if you're overseas in Asia, Asians who cosplay.
I've never really cosplayed before- I've dressed up as Duo Maxwell fron Gundam Wing in highschool, but it was Duo in a girl's dress (dun ask, just dun ask). I wanna play Matsumoto from Bleach just cuz I've got the red hair and the big boobs to pull it off lol. Then again, I could play Hitsugaya cuz I'm uber short, too. So, I dunno....in the end, I say, play whatever character makes you happiest. Just...well...me being so short, I'd look weird playing a tall character like...Kisame, for instance. I'd have to go as Chibi!Kisame lol.

I found some S/N cosplay on DeviantArt, all done by headraline (DA screenname) and her friends. (PS: headraline is cosplaying as Shika. I think someone who goes by the name of mrnosocks is Neji, but I'm not 100% sure.)    redface Wow.

Yes, one can melt quite easily to those photos.
(Quite ironic, since two girls are dressing up as a yaoi cosplay. It's more like discombobulated yuri. Sort of.)
