That's a very easy thing to do. I lost my original town too. sad
Uh... I hope your dog's ok. You probably should have taken him to a vet or something.

Wow...i wonder why it wanted to eat it O_O
My friend once lost her Ds and ACWW game.
She found her DS on her washing machine a month later.
The same day she threw a game controller at her TV when angry at her game. She heard a 'kerplunk' from behind her TV and it was her game.
Ironic, isn't it? Lol.
But it's okay, you can just buy a new game and re-start. My town was once hacked when I finally paid off my whole mortgage. I had restart. It was fun cutting down all of my trees though.
My town was called Kopokula.
