This thread is for three kinds of people. Those who like to watch AMVs, those who like to make AMVs, and those, like me, who are technologically challenged but have ideas they'd like to share for Avatar: The Last Airbender Music Videos. Makers, please give credit where it's due (those who contributed the ideas. 'made by request of...' etc). C:

What to Post:

- Members who would be willing to help make some videos.
- YouTube/other video site users taking Avatar requests.
- Songs and the main theme or character for a video. Be descriptive! :]
- Link to an AMV you've made based on an idea from the thread.
- Links to an AMV you've already made that fits one of the suggestions for an AMV.
- Suggestions to improve the thread.
- What you like in an AMV.
- Questions about the thread.
- Feedback on ideas. Criticism is fine, but please try to be considerate.
- Bribes to get others to make the videos.

What Not to Post:

- Anything unrelated to the topic.
- Anything making fun of or insulting other members' ideas.
- Vague ideas that make no sense or say, "you know, that one song..."
- AMV's that don't include ideas mentioned in the thread.

Likes: (list your favorite AMVs to make - pairings, battles, a certain character, etc.)
Will Not Do: (anything you won't do - pairings, a certain genre of music, etc.)
Bribes: (the price that'll guarantee a video - could be free. Please be reasonable)
Good At: (Lip synching, matching lyrics to clips, effects, etc.)
Past AMVs: (Link please, unless you haven't made one before.)
Est. Time Frame: (how long you think it'll take you to make one video, doesn't have to be exact - it could be like 2-3 days or similar.)

[Psycho (Puddle of Mudd) - Zuko (and his relationship with his sister)]<-------- Every time I hear this song I think of Zuko yelling at Azula that she's the one who is, in fact, the schizophrenic psycho. There are lots of Angry!Zuko shots for some good yelling and all the childhood flashbacks would be great for the "back when everything was like a loaded gun" bits. (It was only a matter of time before Ozai did something to get rid of his "failure" son.) ~ Request by Janenna

[Into the Ocean (Blue October) - Aang] <-------- Again, every time I hear this song I practically see an Aang AMV. Mostly I think of episodes like Aunt Wu or The Storm where there's lots of rain and water involved. ~ Request by Janenna

I have two ideas for AMVs I'd like to make but am lacking source materials. Would you be able to provide sources for AMVs such as episode and/or song downloads or possible some form of free video making program?

If you want to know the ideas I have;

This is a really cool idea ^^, I just wish I had a faster computer to handle compiling videos xd .

I have a possible idea though smile ; "Sam's Town by The Killers" has a fantastic beat and could be used as an AMV for all the characters smile . It has such a LONG intro that you could scroll through all the characters, heroes and villains. The next bit I think would be very good for showing off all the Avatar fight scenes biggrin .

I'm pretty sure there are view downloads of episodes online already, namely @ veoh.com.
Music is pretty easily found too.
I don't know anything about video making programs though, which is kind of why I made this thread - I have no experience.

AMV idea: "Kidnap the Sandy Claws" from Nightmare before Christmas, with either Azula's group by themselves or with Zuko tossed in as Lock.
