While the Dreamcast was fairly inventive with its online capabilities and its interesting memory card, I'd have to go with the Genesis. It's oldschool, and its blast processing was at the top of its game when it came out. It redefined games.

mine would be a close call between master system and genisis (or mega-drive as we call it here in sunny ol' england)
master system was the first sega console i owned and the games may not of had the best graphics but they were a challenge, unlike the games of today
and genisis..well... for old school sake

Genesis. It was my first system, and I still think I treasure it more than my PS2.
