Gwenvael opened his left eye. The warm grass pleaded him to stay and rest. True, he would until another came by that is. He opened his mouth, a set full of fangs and sharp teeth, a yawn escaped and then was closed again. The black and crimson dragon seemed to dislike being alone. No longer was he caring, but cold now. Unfortunantly? Or luckily?

Oh well his heart was no longer wamr but frozen. Now he rarely cared about the living thins around him, or anyone to be exact.

What on earth am I doing here?

Ametatsu scowled at the soft brown earth beneath him, so different from his usual rocky home. He eased himself onto his feet and observed his surroundings, dark eyes taking in every detail. He was at the foot of the mountains, in a small forest clearing, and he couldn't for the life of him remember how he'd got there...deciding that he must've been chasing away intruders, the small dragon meandered through the forest in search of food.

Dark violet eyes looked on through a crack in the trees. There was a flash of white glowing light, and the spy was gone.

Gwenvael flicked his ears, he heard someone coming. The hunter moved up a tree to get a better looked at that little thing. A dragon? Like one of his kind? He thought that he only saw equus around anymore. "It figures I'm back at thee West," He mummbled and jumped down. "Why hello!" He said happily.

"Wha-?!"
Ametatsu jumped back, almost instantly swinging his tail round for attack. He'd been strolling along, minding his own business as usual when this-this - thing had jumped out at him! Looking closer, however, he saw it was a dragon too, a Doragon, one that was far older and probably stronger than he was. The sight of one made him feel relieved, but also slightly fearful. He was not particularly powerful after all, and if this stranger wanted a fight, he would probably come off worse.

Nevertheless, the Maunten narrowed his eyes and hissed at the greeting in an attempt to regain his composure. "Who are you? What do you want?"

Gwenvael smiled, fangs shining with few sunlight that reached him. "I am Gwenvael, and you are?" He looked at the... dragon? curiosly. This one was very different alright. Maybe it was a different species of dagon? Afterall he had only seen his own kind. In which he couldn't remember what they were called.

"I want somebody to talk to," His eyes closed, his head nodded. Once eyes reopened again. "Too lonely around these areas. Yet not even one dragon seems to show up..." His voice faded as he sighed. "What about you?"

Ametatsu scowled, hiding his suspicious fear. "Ame...tatsu." He said reluctantly. It was unusual for him to speak so civilly to another dragon, even going as far to say it was a conversation, but this dragon was far bigger than he was, and he wasn't stupid enough to get himself into unecessary fights.
He listened with almost incredulous disbelief however, at the dragon's next words. A dragon loving company? Ametatsu almost snorted, but remembered quickly who he was talking to.
"I don't know how I got here," He answered shortly, the elaborated slightly. "And I don't know when I'm going back. I must've been chasing away intruders when I ended up in this forest. I don't know why I fell asleep." It was a clumsy speech, but as the Maunten rarely prolonged exchanges other than threats, he felt fairly proud of his achievement. "I live up there," He explained quickly, pointing with a spike-covered tail towards the snow-capped mountains.

"Ametatsu eh?" He asked understandingly. "Maybe magick?" He asked sarcastically. "Or was it a magick portal?" He looked around as if someone was listening to their comversation. He chuckled, "Heh, snowy white mountains. Must be... cool up there," But dragons usually don't suffer from climates or bad injuries, that's what the scales are for!

"How long have you been down here?" He asked and looked around, this was such a nice place. Only to be replace by snow, and then flowers, the heat and some falling leaves. But up there... where everything was white... how cold was that?

Again, Ametatsu repressed a snort with some difficulty. Who was this dragon to talk about ridiculous magic portals and what-not?
"Yes, of course it's cold," Ametatsu said rather proudly, "But..." his tone softened slightly. "It's amazing, because it is possible to see all around. So high up..." He trailed off and coughed, feeling embarassed. "But it's difficult there as well. Although dragons are thick-skinned, we can't always stand up to the harsh weather."
The Maunten considered it's next question, flicking his tail and glancing round too. It was strange, he'd been feeling as though he'd been watched ever since he woke up. He scowled a little at the surroundings and abruptly returned to what he was saying.
"Half a day? Quarter, even? Not long. I've never been down here before in my life, either. Do you live here?"

Gwenvael thought for a second, did he live here? Nah, or maybe he could accept it as his temporary route. "Nope, I'm just visiting... or rather I was born here and then go here and there. Never stay in the same place for more than two days," He nodded and smiled.

"Well-- are you going to return up to where you belong? Or stay down here?" He ask, he was curoius so what? Crimson scales shone in the afternoon sun he swayed his tail softly like a cat's ready to pounce at any second. Though Gwenvael wouldn't think of it as that way.

Eyeing the other's tail warily, Ametatsu nodded reluctantly. "I s'pose I should return."
He gave no reason, but in truth it was the sun dancing along his scales that was causing them to itch, a burning feeling instead of the cool, soothing breeze he felt normally. He was almost - allergic - to sunlight through sheer obstinance and lack of exposure to it, in any case he disliked it and avoided it where possible. But he couldn't say truthfully that he hadn't missed the lush green forests. There was nothing quite like them up in the mountain, everything was much more scrubbish and bare. "Will you be staying here?" He asked, trying to make his closing remarks as polite and short as possible.

Gwenvael blinked. "Awww," He looked rather disappointed. "Going already?" He asked, well it figures. One must be where one belongs. He sighed and gave in. "Alrighty then," He smiled and moves his tail like a cat's. His ears flicked around for the other question. "I don't know, I don't usually stay around for much," He assure the young dragon and nodded.

Chamastla walked slowly through the trees listening to the sounds of the woods.
Just by chance she glanced of towards her left and saw two dragons.
One large red and black on and a smaller black one who looked slightly diffrent.
Not wanting to interupt them she edged closer to them slowly.
