I'm just curious what's everyone thinks about fanfiction. I've actually met a few people who cring at the idea. I personally love a well written one. Heck, I even write them, but not as well as I would hope.
What do you look for in fics? What do you hate people doing in fics? Talk about anything dealing with fics! Nya~
Side note:
I wouldn't recomend anyone here to read any of my fics for a few reasons:
1) Sometimes I don't send my stuff to my beta since we're both busy
2) They're all Yu-Gi-Oh
3) Most of them are yaoi or have hints of yaoi
4) The pairing I write isn't very popular from the reaction I get from people I've talked to even though it's one of the few that makes sense then some of the other pairings the two characters are sometimes in that are kinda popular
5) I still haven't gotten around to starting that fic I promised my friend where all the major ygo characters I feel like writing about would die and may never since I'm kinda scared (three times (or four since one of the incidents happened twice) a part of my fic has actually happened / was mentioned in the series)

ninja I really like gender switch fanfics for some reason unknown to even myself.
I'm not a huge fan of shonen-ai even though I sometimes come across a few I totally swoon for. xD ((RyomaxRyoga)) *Drools* So wrong...
I've had a nice little loop of series I read fanfics on.. I've found that Bleach and Naruto have some of the worst EVERRR. Along with Ouran Highschool Host Club.
^^ I went from Prince of Tennis > InuYasha > YuGiOh > D.Gray-man (current)
OMMMGGGGEEE. I've totally made a Harry Potter crackfic. No one ever read it... I'm thinking of making anther one though and leaving a super good fake lead... >O I'll then submit a raunchy HarryxProf. Magonagold crackfic. MWAHAHA! I'll mis-rate it and scar the minds of everyone. I'll then get banned and I'll make HP fanfic history. [/evil plan]

Yu-Gi-Oh -> FullMetal Alchemist -> Yu-Gi-Oh -> Yu-Gi-Oh, Gundam Wing, and a little Kingdom Hearts -> mostly Gundam Wing (not much originality in ygo with the type I read)
Either you or one of my friends would make HP fanfic history. He's planning on making a HP/Saw crossover where all the major characters would die. (He hates HP that much. That and ygo.) Nya~

If the Fanfic is downright crap, then i will dislike it, but if it is pretty decent and artwork and plot is good then yes i will most likely enjoy it biggrin

PandaSgt_7th_Division If the Fanfic is downright crap, then i will dislike it, but if it is pretty decent and artwork and plot is good then yes i will most likely enjoy it biggrin
