I don't know if it's my server, or if they're all like this, but I can't find a decent guild. I joined one the other day and within four hours every member had been promoted/demoted/banned/added/etc. about fifteen times each, and the guild went through three different owners. So I quit, because I don't need that bullshit.
The sad thing is, this is pretty much par for the course because they all want to be a family and have meetings and micromanage s**t until it breaks down into a bunch of idiots using raid symbols over and over again.
I want to start my own guild. Basically just have a guild for the purposes of quick help when you need it if it's available. I'm sick of a giant wall of bright green text out of the corner of my eye while I'm trying to get s**t done. I play alone, I group when I have to. I do not want to be a part of someone's WoW family.
I have plenty of friends who want to join, so making it is no problem. Only I don't want some stupid name that makes us sound like we're some hardcore a**-kicking heroes when we're really just a bunch of level 20-30's.
So, any suggestions? I know I could have asked for this without the drawn out story, but I need you guys to know what I'm asking for.

(guild was formed after BC came out)
(PvP Guild)
(was an australian guild on my old server)

lol, those are awesome. I've seen a few of those on Illidan. We've had a few others
and I can't even think of anything else right now...but I know there are plenty
