Summary:
So I played this game, Dream of Mirror Online, or abbreviated as "DoMO". The game is based around Chinese mythologies about an alternate world inside mirrors. It's very nice for casual gamers.
When you start out, you're completely alone on some random area, differing for each race. The layout of the area appears to be the same for every race though.
After advancing through a line of tasks that tell you how to play the game, you're sent to Summoning Pool where you're able to pick your storyline, humans for fame, or monsters for "peace". Picking changes nothing but your story quests and rewards.
When you're through with that, you're now presented to the main town, Eversun City (AKA Laggersun). Right in front of you is the Eversun Guide, where you can pick up a few quests that will help you navigate around Eversun and provide some XP.
Exiting Eversun, either North or South, you'll see some familiar monsters and some other things to kill.
After killing pigs, butterflies, and dogs, once you reach around level 10, you'll be visited by Chasm King, assuming you did the quests in the beginning, you'll know who he is. He visits you, telling you that you are now ready for job qualifications. Why qualifications? Because we're able to switch jobs at any time through an NPC.
From level 10 on any class, you can do "Life Quests" that are available every 10 levels that reward you springs (skill points), titles, and weapon recipes (which are used for alchemy to create stuff).
By level 15, you're able to do a quest to fly on weapons. The quest is mainly killing an instanced boss, which is easy for high-levels or with a group, and you're able to fly. After doing that, you can complete a quest to improve your flying speed -slightly-. There's more flying quests to improve your flying speed, but they aren't released in NA and EU version yet.
You can also get pets from the item mall (cash shop). If you happen to level a Musician and put points into Pet Sound category, your pets will be VERY strong, strong enough to kill people in PvP at least 5 levels higher.
You're also able to obtain titles for certain accomplishments, and your character itself. Doing quests give you titles. Females are able to get "cup" titles based on their boob sizes after defeating certain "weird" monsters.
-Character Creation(8/10): Creation is like any ordinary MMO. You pick your race, ordinary Humans, small and cute Sprites, strong and sexy Shuras, and the magical Sylphs. There's no stat differences, but there's a small difference, Sprites run fastest, Shuras slowest, but has a slightly higher HP regen, Sylphs have a slightly higher MP regen. Then you pick your gender, and finally, you customize your character, choosing eyes, hairstyle, hair color, boob sizes for female, height, and a few other minor things.
-Classes/Races(8/10): Like any regular MMO, there's support classes, damage dealers, AoEs, money-making (not released), and DoT (not released). The classes are Commoner (Starting class), Thief, Martial Artist, Blademasters, Musicians, Mercenaries, Wizard, Shamans, Hunter, Doctor, Fencers (just released in NA and EU), Dancers (not released), Witch Doctor (AKA Voodoo, not released), and Merchant (Not released). You're able to switch classes through an NPC so long as you have their qualification.
-Movement(9/10): The game uses WASD movement, and also supports point-and-click and arrow keys. The WASD is slightly different, as it is FPS-styled, where the camera is FIXED in position, and A and D would make you run left and right, respectively, rather than turn. S makes you run backwards, instead of walk backwards.
-Leveling(8/10): The leveling isn't a TOTAL grind until maybe 40 and up (level cap is 60). The only problem that you'll have is that when soloing, you'll get bored pretty often, and not kill as fast. When partying for AoE (which is what 90% of the parties in dungeons do), there's lots of KSing drama, especially around level 20-30, and this hinders you a bit.
-Skills(7/10): Skills lack a lot of animations. They're usually the same thing, over and over. Skills aren't described so well here and there.
-World(8/10): There's currently 9 maps available in DoMO, 12 counting the 3 main towns. 3 more maps are currently not available in NA and EU DoMO. There's even more counting the dungeons. The only thing that hinders the maps is that they're portal to portal, instead of open world.
-Beginner Friendly(9/10): The game is very simple to learn, and the first few levels, you're visited by Chasm King often, who tells you what you could expect later on.
-Overall Gameplay/PvP(6/10): PvP is not that great, as the Martial Artist class has a skill that has approximate fixed damage that does around 1k+ damage at level 1, while most classes around level 30 has less than 900 HP. It's mainly about whoever can cast their skill fastest, no player skills or anything.
-Graphics (9/10): DoMO uses cel-shading and anime-styled graphics, glow effects and such. The graphics are very nice in general, especially if you have good graphics card.
