I both buy CDs and pay for my downloads because I know that I'm supporting the artist. The only time I don't pay for my downloads is when the song isn't on iTunes or if it's a rare song or something.

I download to see if I absolutely like them, then buy the CD if I do. Or if I've already heard it elsewhere and just kinda like them I might just download it...

I do both. I like buying cds so I can listen to them in my room without a hassle. But i like downloading them so I can get them on my ipod without a hassle lol

I've stopped downloading due to viruses, the fact that CD's make me feel better, and I'm supporting the artist.
It's hard, though, because my dad rarely lets me buy CD's 'cause of lack of money. I'm always tempted, but I get by. ninja

I download if:
1.) I only like two or three of the songs on a whole CD, and not the rest.
2.) Buying the CD requires ordering online only, which I do not do.
3.) It's a CD or song that's hard to find.
4.) It's an artist I don't listen to all that much.
Otherwise, I'll buy the CD, especially if it's an artist I love. Or if it has a nice design.

I do both. If the cd is really good and I like most of the songs, I'll buy it. But If I only like a few of the songs and its not worth buying the whole cd. The I'll just download.

I neither download songs nor buy original CDs. I just hop across the Causeway and get the cheaper, pirated ones! pirate Yeah, it's bad, but I ain't a rich man's daughter. xd

I download. I don't have money to buy cds, and I don't have any time. I have to buy stuff with my money( that I rarely get though).

Blue_Eminems_in_the_rain I download because I hate the record companies A) If you just downloaded it off ITunes, it is irrelevant... You still bought it from the record company... B) If you just pirated it, it's people like you that put musician like me out of business. You only raise the cost of CDs and ruin musician's lives. Oh... And I buy me CDs. So I can gets 'em autographed!
