Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter
Note: There is more than one chapter, and I will be writing as I go along, because I haven't actually written it. I believe there will be a little over tewnty chapters, and I am hoping to be able to post them on a weekly basis. So, yeah, I hope you like it. =] By the way, the above statement it kind of a lie, because I have written it before, when I was nine, but I didn't like the way I wrote it or ended the story and this version will have a more dramatic turn. So, yeah.
Oh, and I am not going towards the OOTP storyline at all. I'll be a semi-normal year. Ha.

Chapter One: Hogwarts Express
_____Megan stared at the back of her older sisters head while sitting in the back seat of their parent's car. "Are we there yet?" She asked for what must have been the hundredth time since the start of their journey. Hermione closed her eyes and sighed. "For the thousandth time, we're not there yet! Give it a few more minutes, maybe some ten minute intervals, okay?" She went back to her book, a very thick book that they'd bought at Diagon Alley, where she had gotten everything that was in her trunk, spare a few of her 'Muggle' belongings and such. She sighed and started counting the seconds in her head, giving herself something to do. She started playing with her long, straight brown hair. She couldn't wait to get to Hogwarts. She could hardly think about it without squealing with joy. Who could blame her - this was the place where her fifteen year old sister spent her years at, and she was so happy to be able to learn magic. She wanted so badly to use her wand - a yew wand, ten inches in length, with a core of unicorn hair. She didn't even know unicorns existed until Hermione cam home after her first year and told her all about it, after a lot of pestering and such. What could she say, she was excited. Who wouldn't be?
_____She closed her eyes and smiled, but not for more than a minute, because Hermione said, "We're here Megan. Here's your ticket..." She handed Megan a ticket that said The Hogwarts Express, Platform 9 3/4. This confused Megan, and when Hermione came back with the two luggage carts, she asked about it. "Oh, that's just a... I'll explain it when we get to it, okay?" Megan nodded and helped Hermione and their father load their trunks on to the carts. They both hugged their father good bye and started to walk up to the train station. It was huge, and they when they walked past platform eight, she looked for 9 and 3/4. "Hermione, I don't see it! Where's platform 9 and 3/4?" Hermione sighed and pointed at the wall with the 'Platform 9' on it. "See that? You're gonna want to get a good running start, and you're gonna push your cart into it, and you'll be at the platform, okay?"
_____Megan cocked her head to the side, like she always did when she was confused. Hermione sighed. "Just do it, okay?" Megan swallowed a breath of air and nodded, before running into the wall. Then, all of a sudden, she was on the other side of the wall, and she stopped to stare in awe at the huge, black and gold train that stood infront of her. "Woah," she said, then stared at the wall. Her sister came through. "See, that wasn't so hard, was it?" Megan grinned and shook her head. Hermione chuckled and started to board the train, and Megan followed her. It was AWESOME. Students were already on, looking around for their friends, and playing with the friends they had already found. Hermione started looking through the different...
