Mrs. Lovett sighed as the wind whipped through her hair. She had been in London again last night. However, she was quite used to that. Every night she entered her dream world. The one with the Judge and her Sweeney. Oh that poor soul. If only there was some way that she could put him at ease. It's true that she knew she could never replace his beloved Lucy, but she could still try. It couldn't hurt to try could it?
There was a barber and his wife, And he was beautiful A proper artist with a knife, But they transported him for life. And he was beautiful...
Oh yes he was beautiful, so beautiful. Yes, he could never love her as he had loved his wife Lucy, but perhaps he could grow to love her. As it was he had already taken a good liking to her, though that could just be because of her ideas. But where would he be if she hadn't come up with them? Possibly stuck in some Jail in that London of theirs.
With a little sigh she slowed down to a walk. It was always much easier for her to sing when she was walking. Unfortunately it was much easier for her to think too. Was there anyone in this world that understood her? That could understand her? Perhaps she had no real friends. But could that change over time? She didn't see why not. As she hopped over the little foamy waves that made their way to her hooves, she continued to sing.
I'm your friend too, Mr. Todd. If you only knew, Mr. Todd. Ooh, Mr. Todd, You're warm In my hand... You've come home... Always had a fondness for you, I did...

((I'm still trying to figure him out... so if his character seems a little washy I'm sorry. ^^;; ))
From on the other side of the ocean was yet another tune singing joyfully in merry little tunes as if it were Christmas all over again. The bounce in the Nequus' step was more like a skip with the way he walked. He chuckled, watching sea gulls fly above him and sang directly to them.
Love the life.. Just to fly.. Soaring on a lullaby. Just to feel such beautiful wind rising below your wings..
A few gulls cooed at him which filled his face with a bright smile. He bowed to them, "Lovely and lovier still, eh?" He called up to one of the birds and gave another grin when the bird called back to him.
Prancing, he continued on his way, leaving hooveprints in the sand.

Ah yes.. it was quite a beautiful day for sining. And apparently she wasn't the only one who thought so. At the sound of another's voice she quickly spun to face the wind that brought the song. Who could it be? She hadn't met anyone other than Sweeney Todd who sang, then again she honestly hadn't met anyone other than Sweeney. Could this be the friend that she had been looking for? It was quite possible. However she wasn't even sure that this other Nequus was friendly. Look at Sweeney, he had a lovely voice but his bite was definitely worse than his bark.
So who was this young looking thing anyway? She really supposed there was only one way to find out. However she wasn't so good at approaching anyone. The last time she had she'd just about damn near scared Mr. Todd right out again. Well, perhaps is she merely walked on to meet this new fellow. Or, she thought he was a fellow. He looked a bit taller than the female Baes were so it was a good guess. In any case it didn't really matter right now anyway. So long as he, or she, never knew what she had originally thought then there was no harm done.
Carefully she danced her way around the waves as she lightly hummed to herself. When she was within a few yards of the other bae she confirmed that she was right. This one was male. However, what interested her even more was the music note that he carried on his body. She studied it for a few moments before she realized that she was being rude and then turned her attention back to him. "Hello there!" She cried in a sing-song voice.
Did you come here for a pie, sir? Do forgive me if me head's a little vague -- Ugh! What is that? But you think we had the plague! From the way that people Keep avoiding -- No you don't! Heaven knows I try, sir! Ick! But there's no one comes in even to inhale! Right you are, sir, would you like a drop of ale? Mind you, I can't hardly blame them! These are probably the worst pies in London! I know why nobody cares to take them, I should know, I make them, But good? No!
After a moment she caught herself. "Sorry sir, I've been in a bit of a different place all day. I doubt you'd believe me if I told you. Anyway I'm Mrs. Lovett. Who might you be?"

Lyric had also heard the singing from a bit farther off. A twitching smile pulled at his lips, it had been a while since he had heard such a beautiful song calling back to him.
What's that, in the air?! Is it the beautiful sun dancing on a cloudless day? Twisting and turning such beautiful flames. Just as if it were calling your name.
He bellowed the last of the verse and chuckled when a gull flew right over his head. His wings flittered and he hopped up and down. And then he paused when he saw the female. He immediately blushed and took a step back. She had a lovely singing voice, he certainly admired that, but he couldn't find it in himself to speak at all, in fact, it was as though he had lost his very voice!
"I... I umm..." He studdered over what words spilled out. He was always this way, male or female, he never could speak fluently, which is why he stuck to verses and writing. "It-it's.. quite... qui- alright..." He stooped as low as he could bring his neck without causing strain. "I.. I'mm.. Lyric.. Ma'am.." He knew he had to eventually get over his phobia of speaking. It had to be ridiculous for a Bae of his intellect.

Chuckling to herself she ruffled her wings a little. It had been a while since she had met anyone outside of her dream world. Lately it was Sweeney this, Judge Turpin that. It would be quite nice to be able to talk to someone normal for a change.
"Sorry to frighten you lad. I just haven't talked to anyone in," she paused for a moment to think. "well I guess it would be weeks. Anyone normal anyway."
Smiling sweetly she allowed the waves to silently lap at her hooves. She wasn't a big fan of the cold water but it brought her back to reality and allowed her to focus on the sensation. If she wasn't careful she might find herself lost back in her dream world. No, that wouldn't be good, She was fairly certain that she gained a glazed look when that happened. That would probably frighten this new comer more than anything else.
Her voice was close to singing again when she turned back to her new companion. "What has brought you here on such a fine day?"
