A symphony of horns arose from the intersection of the city as a white collie passed through. He never understood why they made so much racket, he couldn't run faster. All he wanted to do was get across the street and they had to be mean about it. What if they had wanted to get into the dog park and he didn't let them? No no no, they certainly wouldn't like that.

He shook out his fur as his paws touched the sidewalk again and he was safe. The traffic picked up it's slow, crowded pace once more and all was well, but he still glared at the occasional driver who came to close to the curb. Crazy humans in their mechanical beasts. They should just walk. Maybe then they wouldn't be so round.
