I didn't run into any of you guys in the mass of 14,000... Did anyone else lose that feeling of family that Kumoricon 07 brought?

I suck for getting semi-grounded. :[
I wish I could have gone, too...but I'll be there next year. I promise.
But! On topic, I've heard from friends that it's not as...warm...as KumoriCon. Not as homey. That's just what I've heard, I can't really tell for sure since I've never been.

Yeah I think for seeing guildies Kumori-con was definately better. I'm sure it would have been better had Shan-chan been able to go. She seems to be quite good at coordinating meetings for us.

Sakuracon's alot more...stressful. There was never enough time{mainly on Sat.}. I was in the cosplay contest so that took up a HUGE amount of time, and it was delayed and stuff. So I didnt have time to eat at all that day. Although it was only becouse of the cosplay contest rehersal that we got good seats for the ches match. That was the only event I got to go to. I also missed the Naruto photoshoot because it started to rain. At Kumoricon you seem to have more time, {for me} there are usualy less events I want to go to so theres more time to relax.

I like Kumoricon better. I went to Sakuracon for the first time this year and in the waves upon waves of cosplayers, I felt there just wasn't enough time, especially since the things i wanted to see seemed to always clash. But it was worth going since the exhibitors hall had so much to choose from.
