School is over for the day, Practice is over and the sun is starting to get low in the sky. The town is busy at this time of the day, between kids heading home, parents from work and people trying to get some dinner into themselves and their families.
Ryan took off right after football practice for the lake, even skipping his shower. He ducked right by Riley and was the first to arrive.
Mack has to stop at the store to pick up some things for her parents before she can head over to the lake as well.
Nothing else much to say here, Head home, have dinner, hang with friends and enjoy!

[NPC] ??? A stranger has been walking around downtown for the last few hours after arriving by bus. He wears a letterman Jacket for another High School, but its the same color and has an "N" on it. This one is a bit more beat up, and also seems to be made of a sturdy leather. He has a backpack with what sounds like electronics inside. He pauses after a bit. "Lost again..." He shuffles through his backpack for a map, but knows he doesn't have one for North Hackettsville. He looks up and stops a young lady who just so happens to be Mackenzie Buffington... "Excuse me, do you know how to get to the main building for Trance Microelectronics from here? I'm kinda lost..." He blushes slightly, rubbing the back of his head.

 Mac looks at the stranger. A new face, how odd. She returns his smile.
"Sure, everyone around here knows how to get there. Hell, if you live in Hackett land long enough you end up working there. My own parents work there. I'll show you where it is if you'd like?"
Mac checks her watch and does the math in her head. She'd have to rush a bit, but she should be able to make it to the lake on time.
"My name's Makenzie. Makenzie Buffington. What's your name stranger? You're not from around here right?"

[NPC] Kevin Keene  "My name's Kevin. Kevin Keene." He shakes hands and returns the smile warmly. "I'm actually just passing through, I don't really plan on staying, but I have some business with Trance... If you could just point me in the right direction I should be okay from there." Mackenzie points off in the direction of Trance for him, briefly explaining the few streets he has to go down. He nods, smiles again and thanks her again. "I'm glad we met, Mackenzie Buffington. If you ever find yourself in Northdale, California, you should stop by! I gotta run. Thanks again!" And with that, Kevin is gone, off on what is unbeknown to Mackenzie as an adventure with deep meaning for her future.

Mac smiles as she watches Kevin walk away. Wow, he's really nice. Northdale, CA huh? Maybe someday...
"Crap! What am I doing? I need to get home for dinner, I have to be at the lake by 6... wait why am I talking to myself?"
Mac looks around to make sure no one saw her doing that, and then runs home as quickly as possible. Gah! Which suit should I wear?

 Elise arrives at the lake around 5 o'clock, after running home and changing out of her school clothes. She doesn't see anyone by the shore, but that's not really surprising; I knew I'd be one of the first here, she thinks, and shrugs to herself. "Ah, well," she sighs, and settles down under the big willow tree by the shore, rifling through her bag and pulling out a novel. "Might as well catch up on my reading." She opens the book, and is soon blind and deaf to the rest of the world.

[NPC] Ryan Michaels 
"Cannonball!"
Ryan arrives only moments after Elise. He makes his introduction by stripping down while running for the water and diving in, as stated, cannonball style. He comes up to the surface several seconds later, but seems a little dejected that the only person around is that bookworm who used to do his homework... Elsie? Elaine? What was her name again? Elise, that was it! Mack always hangs around her. She probably does her homework for her now... Ryan sees over by the shore his blue swim trunks. But wasn't he wearing-- Oh crap. He starts swimming back to shore as fast as he can! He has nothing to hide, but the water is a little cold; might as well keep some things a secret!

 Mac raises an eyebrow as she watches Ryan sprint out of the water to retrieve his swim trunks. Interesting.
Quietly she sits down next to Elise. She knows Elise is basically dead to the world with a book in her hands, so she removes her clothing without bothering her, folds them neatly and makes her way towards the water. Ryan has his back to her, and has yet to see her. She tiptoes over to him, smirk planted on her face. She gets right behind him, leans in, and whispers in his ear, "Nice butt."

 Arrives just as Ryan bolts out of the water. After a brief moment deciding wether or not to stay, he smirks at Mackenzie. "Smaller than advertised, huh?"

 "Crap, i'm late!" thinks Riley as he drives down main street heading towards the lake. "I knew I shouldn't have stopped to by the house. Dad can be a real chatterbox...when he's actually home. Ah well, atleast Mac should be nice and wet by the time I get there." When he left town, he guned his pickup full throttle down the road towards the lake. Pulling up to the shore line, he jumped outta the cab of the truck and suddenly realized he forgot his trunks..."oh well..." he thought as he started dashing towards the beach, and onward towards the water, removing articles of clothing as he ran. "Yeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!!!!!!!!!!"

 Ryan smirks, ignoring some of the comments, and leaps playfully back into the water, without his suit and tackles Riley, shoving him under the water. They both resurface a few seconds later. "Heh, just like practice today!" He splashes Riley jokingly before turning his attention to the kids on the Beach. "Are you going to get in the water or not? The water is still really warm!"

Spluttering, Riley lifts his head above the water, and shakes it from his face. Fixing the back of Ryan's head with a devious grin, he dives back into the water, goes down to the bottom, plants his feet, grabs Ryan's ankles and gives a hard, quick jerk. Seeing Mack on the bank sitting next to Elise, Riley yells out, "Come on ladies! There's too much sausage in this gumbo!"

"If you think for one minute I'm getting in that water with both of you naked, you're both insane."
Mac grabs her towel and spreads it over a well lit area. The sun is still warm and shining. She grabs some suntan lotion and starts to apply it too herself, but can't reach. She looks at Elise, but she's still dead. So, pleadingly, she looks at Hollywood.
"Bobby, can you please get my back?" She unties the back of her bikini and lays down, her hair off to the side. "I don't want to burn - nor do I want tan lines."

 Riley chuckles at Bobby’s egress from Mac. “What’s the matter, Wood? Never touch a girl before? Think of it like waxing down your board before hitting the waves.” Riley steps out of the water and puts on his pants. He notices Elise still sitting up the bank, under a tree with her nose buried in her book. She’s a pretty girl, with big eyes, even behind those rather large glasses. She wouldn’t have a problem finding herself a dude if she’d doll up a little. I wonder if the Jolly Green Giant linebacker has a girlfriend. That’d be a match made in heaven. Making a mental note to talk to Mac about that later, he walks up towards Elise. “Hey kid. I’ve read that one. Everyone lives happily ever after and stuff. Why don’t you come hang with us for a bit? That book isn’t going anywhere. I’ll even make Ryan put his shorts back on.”
