I've yet to see Clueless but it does sound a bit pants to me. I think some folk push the idea of Emma in totally the wrong direction (saying that I still want to do my own version of it at some point... emo )

It doesn't sound like a very good film.
Clueless was alright, not the best movie out there, but it was ok.

oldbury There will be a new theatrical film of Emma (Have to say I'm appalled by it) http://www.orange.co.uk/entertainment/film/pics/3081_1.htm That took me to something on the new X-Files movie. I see nothing on imdb about it.

Poo, it sounds like they've reused the url. From memory they were making Emma into a dance film evil

Yeah, it took me to some Angelina Jolie movie...You are probably right, reused url. Do you remember the name of the film, or is it just Emma?

Ok found another article that gives it a very brief mention, it'll be titled "Emme" but as of yet doesn't seem to be on IMDB. The link is: http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117993433.html?categoryId=13&cs=1But in case it vanishes as well: "Screen Gems is developing "Emme," a hip-hop reimaging of Jane Austen's 1816 novel "Emma," set in an inner-city high school."

Sometimes giving a classic story a big twist can work out well (Bride and Prejudice) but this is just no. A big, giant, resounding, burning_eyes brain exploding no.

I'm not going to pass judgement on it yet, but hip-hop and Jane Austen were never really two things I could see together. Especially Emma!!!!! eek
