The Kothoga is my Pride and joy. Made the first year I started sculpting at school for a year final. We had to make our favorite Horror Movie Monster. The Kothoga was from The Relic, a 1990's ish movie. The exact year escapes me. Big critter which was a mix of a mess of creatures. Ox, Alligator, Spider and lion to name a few. It's probably a little under two feet long with it's tail. My Baby.

This is Tasha. I have been drawing her for years, and when for college I was asked to make an Animatronic (Think Robot with a puppet on it, used for movies and such) I knew that she was my main choice. It was hard to make, since it was making a two dimensional creature and bringing her into the 3D world. Click Here to see what the finished Animatronic looked like.

Another school project. We had to make something that would be made into a moving mask. Another Animatronic, though using cables instead of servos like Tasha's Animatronic. His name is Noggen. I had to come up with a name so I could have something to call him when I got mad at him. It was about 20lbs of clay and my plaster face.

User Image

This is a little Hippo head. It is a bit smaller then my closed fist. And I have small hands, so it's not all that big, though it looks bigger in the picture. Um, well, to give you a better idea, it's open mouth was perfect to fit Business Card's into. The teeth held them in place really well.

User Image

This was for a contest. The only thing we were given for it was "Touch" And it was free rein from there. I thought of a child touching their mother for the first time. I still feel that I need to fix this some how, but I only had so much time for it. It didn't even come close to winning, but the contest was kinda bugged a bit. Long story.

Super Sculpty!

User Image

The first of the Puppy Dragon Series I made. I hope to eventually make alot of these and maybe eventually mold them to sell. This was the first one I made, not the best, but still really cute.

User Image

Personally my favorite out of the Three. This is the second Puppy Dragon. Starting to try to get more Puppy Mannerisms to them. Of course it happens that scales are just as itchy as fur is, if not more. But it looks like he got the right spot. Cat paw in the bottom corner for size reference.

User Image

Third of the series. I didn't like it as much as the previous one. I think I could have done it better I guess. Also it had a hard time 'standing' at the right position I wanted it in on it's back. The scales got a bit squished.

User Image

This was a present for a friend. A set of the 12 Chinese Zodiacs. And yes, there is a Cat zodiac in there, but she is a BIG Fruit's Basket fan, so I made one. The actually Zodiac's don't have the 'cat'. I do plan to make a professional set of these to sell at like conventions I go to. But been a bit lazy to work on them, and also been to cold to buy the molding Silcone and make them. Most likely they will be casted in Resin.

User Image

Look Familiar? Probably if you have played any of the Mario Games. I decided to make some necklace Mario figures for a friend of mine. I personally love the Boo's. heart

User Image

A Christmas Present to my Mom. She loves Sea Horses. This is one of my latest Earrings. It was rather hard trying to make it small enough to fit on an earring and not look to bulky, but also be thick enough to not be so fragile as to being worn.

I got a few more in my Sculpture section of my DA account, same link as Above.

Random Other Art!

Chocobo from Final Fantasy done in Stain glass. It's on Plexiglass and does with the Faux Stain Glass Paint stuff. It was alot of fun to make, and this is my first ever project with working with the paint. So I don't think it came out to bad for a first try.

User Image

This was a dire attempt to get a grade when one of my Special Effect projects kinda fell to pieces. Originally it was to be a multi-piece Prosthetic mask. But it was at the end of the year and supplies were running out. So instead of just taking a failure, I improvised and used some Latex and tissues to make this mask. I was trying to make a Tree person. The bark was alot of fun, and the moss was from a hobby shop.

This was done with Make-up. Which I am really not very good at. This is supposed to be Frost Bite. I have been told that it's sent enough shivers down people's backs to make me rather proud of this. It was also constructed upon my own hand. So I was sans one hand for this project.

COSPLAY! For Otakon 2002, I made this costume based on Ushio and Tora Anime. This is Tora, a rather large Tiger Demon that Ushio set free. I am 5'3"... That custom made me like 6'5" about. The main piece of this costume has to be my Haunches. A bunch of wood and foam that had been constructed around a shoe that made me about a foot taller and gave the illusion of a backwards knee that felines have. Each foot weighed about 4lbs each, and took me about a year and a half to practice to walk in those things for like 3 hours. Add that to who knows how much foam to increase my body size to proper anime demon proportions and that was one long day. It won a Judges Award and is actually in Animerica that same year. It can also be found on Fansview.

So adorable and so much details in you works How long have you been sculpting your masterpieces? heart

I really love how you don't just stick to one style. Like the first one was really super detailed and realistic (well... for a monster lol), and the puppy dragon things were less detailed, but still recognizable, and they were super cute! You're really good!

Well, that's actually something I wanted to know more information. I was thinking of selling my stuff online, but not sure how to go about it. If you know anyone who does sell online, I would be most gracious if you might introduce us or at least ask questions on my behalf about going about it.

Thank you. the puppy Dragons are alot of fun to make. And I am quite pleased the Frostbite creeped you out. That means I did a good job. ^_^

Officially, I have been sculpting since I first started my college. We had a introduction to anatomy course that used sculpting as the method we learned. So technically since 2004. But before then I have played with playdoh, carving wood and soap, and various other things that I bet help tie into my sculptures most of my life. My Father is a wood carver and I've been watching him since I was little. So all that probably helps too.

Thank you. I actually find myself doing more realistic things in the Roma clay, and the more cartoony things in the Super Sculpty. But I do like playing with various styles so I can convey different things, whither I want cute, or something more scary, like the difference between the puppy dragon and the Kothoga.
