Thanks, it just really gets on my nerves when the Muslim SAY they're Muslims but acted more like Jews And Christians. MUSLIMS ARNT ALLOWED TO LISTEN TO MUSIC! Try Nasheeds or Muslim Raps ^^

Then why are you blindly following your faith? I see no point in just accepting your faith without question. If you don't question your faith, then you're not learning anything, nor learning the true value of your faith.

Okay. Im sorry. Do what you want. It's just that my teacher at the mosque teaches things from the Q'uaran, something that Muslims are meant to follow. SO I do as I'm told my my islamic teacher. If you got mad at me...I see why...but for real, why would you ask a little 11 year old kid about such things. I only get to ask questions once a week...and that's Thursday...so I will ask WHY we arnt allowed to question anything that Allah says. Okay?..you know it aint good to be madd

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته I'm not mad, I just don't understand why people accept things without question. I can see it in the Army, where sometimes it is essential.
All I was curious about was the reason behind considering music haram...like does it deter people away from Allah or something, and how people came around to that conclusion. I'm not Muslim, so this is pretty alien to me.
"Because my teacher says so" is not a good reason. Consider it advice for the future.

not all music is terrible and satanic... i think we are allowed to listen to music. it is not haram but they say that you just don't have to feel it. i believe also that it is not haram because Allah give us the talents to sing and write lyrics.
