~The garden has had some strange lights glowing at night. Yes.. very strange. And every morning since the first of spring a few new miniature blooms have sprouted in the Forrest.~

- Bloodmoon had been happily enjoying the new spring growth in the garden, among the trees. it was nice peaceful and cheerful, the sun dappled through the trees and there was new blooms everywhere she looked.
The old Blathanna had been watching her children grown and had slowly over time faded into the Forrest away from all the bother of the young. But now something had changed in her quiet secluded world. an odd sense like a whispered voice you couldn't quite hear.

Walking a dappled path she wandered searching out what wasn't quite right when she spotted a patch of blooms that....wait were they blooms? they were so SMALL! Oh the poor things! They were a fourth the size of her children's blooms and there sprites looked like Lexis (her sprite) could eat them!

Fearing lack of sun had caused this she flew and scrabbled at the canopy of leafs, hopeing to shed more light on them. That done she landed beside them and purred soothingly. She decided to protect them while they were so helpless. and with that she curled up to rest. Lexis landing beside her to snooze as well.

One of the blooms stirred.. then another.. and another..

Not far away a pair of miniature eyes watched. Beyond then, farther in the Forrest, behind a thicket a swirling black vortex slowly and silently spun. a few creatures zipped in and out of it.. to fast to be seen.
Something had entered the realm of the Blathanna....

Setting: Fairly deep in the forested part of the Blathanna Garden realm.
RP type: Open RP, Owners and Blath may Join in. Those with the new blooms encouraged to play.
Bonus: You could win one of the new species blooms or if you have one, yours could be one of the first to grow.

"Groovy night." Ash said as he found himself with the child Jareth in the forest. He liked night time as long as he wasn't' in a cabin with odd blath. Then again that was only a movie. He saw something up ahead and decided to go and check it out.

Jareth followed along, but didn't really care about what they were doing. He wanted to find a few minions to become king of. Ash and the girls were not what he was looking for. He too spied something and decided it might be worth going with Ash to see what it was.

A Pair of small eyes watched Jareth and Ash from a near by bush.. they seamed to disappear then appear randomly and without sound among the foliage of the forrest. Fast, unpredictable.. wild.

BloodMoon yawned and looked about as she heard a Russel above her, her red eyes catching a glint from above. Her ears went back as she went into defensive mode.. she also noted a few of the little blooms where missing from her pile. So much fro her promise.
She eyed the foliage above her and sniffed the air trying to decide who or what was above her.

Twink walked quietly along the path, beening new here and a dragon he didn't know what the others would think of him, Qin his sprite sat in the middle of his back sunbathing or at least trying to as past under trees. He knew that his when the sun hit his scales they shined like small gems

Bloodmoon watched as a cat emerged from above her and landed in front of her. she waited till it was obvious this other was waiting for her. The silence stretched uncomfortably for a while, its claws digging into the expanse between the two cats.
"Hello?" she queried slowly
"Have you been up there.. long?"

Moon wasn't sure what else to say, there was this feeling of menace.. it wasn't exactly coming from the cat in front, in fact her fur crawled like another unseen set of eyes were watching them.. but still she was old enough to know not to give to much away to a cat who was less than forward at first.

The blooms beside Moon, unbeknown to her wiggled in the light, they made a light tinkling sound as one or two opened slightly. Small eyes peered out at the drama playing out before them.

And among the foliage more eyes watched.. they watched the demon who was watching them and the pair in the opening too. They were watching.. and scheming.

Meanwhile the eyes that had been following the pair of Blathanna receded to a higher perch, small claws digging into a branch and a high pitched buzz sounding as it was startled by the presence of two anthro Blathanna and not far away a dragon. It hissed slightly in agitation, not liking to be potently caught.

Light caught emerald eyes before it flitted off to a new perch, watching this newly coalescing group.
another of its kind caught up to it and they chittered quietly for a second before they both buzzed to a more hidden location.
