I'm going after it on my own.
Where can I find Kagrenac's Planbook and Journal? I think one of the two is at the shrine of Holomayan...and the other, I believe to be in a Dwemer ruin inside Red Mountain, same as Keening and Sunder. But...where? Maps or directions would be nice...x3

BAD CHOICE hombre. If you do it that way, once you equip it, you lost 255 health PERMENANTLY. I hope you didn't kill Vivec to get it. Because you can get Wraithguard, and then steal the "Unique Dwemer Artifact" Just to be cool and have 2 Wraithguards.
So if you DID kill Vivec, then I would actually reccomend getting a LOT of restore health potions, and going for a suicide attack on the Heart. You just may be able to pull it off if you bring enough potions.

the weired thing happend to me once
i had finished the game and beat a few guilds and had a uber character, i went killed vivec easily, took wraithguard went and got it fixed, and then i equiped it and prepared to get my health blown away but that never happend
also the journal i beileve is in the kraogenic(sorry if i spelt it wrong) library i beleive

I've made three non-Nerevarine Wraithguards since asking this question xp
You're right, it blows a lot of health away. I trained for a week of real-life time...
And I found the stuff. One book is in Tureynulal, the other is in Endusal. I made Wraithguard, took the Heart of Lorkhan out, and became Nerevarine...sadly...it ain't worth it. I completed the full quest, and there's a lot of stuff you just can't do once you become the acknowledged Nerevarine. Everyone wants to lick your boots... stare

Yea the nerevar quests arent worth it. I was mad when I got a permanent 200 health dead evil

I'll just get to the part where I get WraithGuard from Vivec, and I'll abandon the quest. That way, I'll have all of the rare items (I'll get the vampire items myself). There's something almost...romantic...about Keening and Sunder...legendary items, of known origin and unknown nature...
And I pick up some stuff worth some SERIOUS cash xd and it's all mine, mine, mine *dances*
