Chainmaille - Not chain letters! People tend to get those words mixed up a lot. Maille is a bunch of little rings opened and closed and interwoven to make lots of nifty things.
Feel free to post constructive criticism, ideas, questions, or whatever here.
NEW Lots of stuff this time: Desktop Background This one is just a random picture that I took of my maille that makes a pretty nifty wallpaper. Tao units layed out in a heart. Will not be in posts below
Shaggy Loop Bracelet An experiment to see if I could 1) Do the weave, and 2) mix beads and maille. Experiment successful.
Shaggy Loop Earrings
Tao Earrings Put these in a craft fair. Didn't sell.
The Breakdown of a cross keychain Will not be in posts below
New things are also pictured in the following posts somewhere.
CURRENTLY WORKING ON Getting a Job
POSSIBLE FUTURE PROJECTS Half Persian wrapped coin pendant
I'm sorry for the lack of a consistent size in my pictures. When I get back home for the summer, I'll have Photoshop and will have a way to keep them the same size. The pictures will all probably change then.

Earrings
Micro-Maille Crosses. Full persian weave, enameled copper. Pain to make, but also a lot of fun. A gift for my mom for Saint Patrick's Day.
Tao Earring. I wear these a lot.
Gold Diamond earring. I don't like these, but they're simple and everyone else seems to think they're awesome. I haven't sold any yet, but oh well.
Shaggy Loop pearl earrings. A gift for my boyfriend's mother for Mother's Day. Have to send those off soon...

Bracelets-ish
A wrist cuff in stainless steel, European 4-1 weave. I wear this nearly every day!
Bell Anklet. I love this one! Also mine. Lots of noise. Sold one for $10
My very first handflower. I still need to work on it, but I'm pleased with the overall effect. All of it is in the Half Persian 3-1 weave, and the rings are stainless steel and enameled beading wire.
Shaggy Loops pearl bracelet. A gift for my mother for Mother's Day and a successful attempt at mixing beads with maille.

Things that I don't Have Enough of To Justify Their Own Post
Euro4-1 ring in purple beading wire. Fun to make, but I have to repair it a lot.
My first headdress. Euro4-1 band, 1-1 chains for the top and dangly things.
It's the mailleman! He was made for a friend of mine who didn't get any recognition for being in a stage crew that moved 11 sets of furniture (bed, table, desk, etc.) and has generally been stressed lately. This is for him to throw at walls, throw things at, stab, or just flat out abuse. All stainless steel, so it shouldn't do too much damage.

My feathered f3d0r4, fully accessorized. I finished the hatband yesterday and got the feather from a renaissance festival. I've had the hat for a couple years now and love it to pieces! Euro6-1 weave in bright aluminium rings.
Epic Flail Linked because the image is too big to fit well. An experiment to see if I could do it. Looks like the experiment was successful! Named Epic Flail by Quala.

LINKS My deviantArt This is where I regularly post my chainmail pictures. I'd check here occasionally to see if I've forgotten to post something or to see maille from other artists in my favorites.
M.A.I.L. Maille Artisans International League I go here on a regular basis to get ideas and look at how to make new weaves. It's awesome if you're wanting to start making maille or if you want me to try a pattern. My UN there is MaillePirate
The Ring Lord An awesome place to order rings.
More to come as I find ones I like.

Thank you!
All the smaller rings are beading wire that I've wrapped around a 1/8'' dowel. The bigger rings are stainless steel that have been formed into rings the same way, only (obviously) on bigger rods.

The flail has rings I squished past the proper closed point to be like little barbs. It hurts a little when you hit people with it.
