  Pewter city is a fairly decent sized community founded in the bottom of a rocky valley leading from the Viridian forest. From the forest to the city the most direct path involves quite a steep climb down a slide of treacherous shifting rocks. The safest route takes nearly an hour to tread but it's the route many more people prefer to take. The path winds down the cliff into the valley with countless switchbacks. It's a pain to climb up but practally a breeze walking downhill. The city itself is well-managed- the streets are clean for the most part and there’s not too much traffic to deal with. Aside from the Pewter City Gym the city doesn’t have much else to show for. It has plenty of restaurants along the main road for passing travelers- where the city gains much of its income. There are a few trainer supply stores to include an item store that carries a slim but existent selection of Poke’mon attachable to include the charcoal for fire-Poke’mon. The Poke’mon center’s not anything different or unique- it’s large enough to house the trainers passing through and to facilitate any Poke’mon in need of healing.

Pewter City Gym:Home of the Boulder Badge- the Pewter City Gym is the first challange to young trainers emerging from the Viridian forest. The gym leader, Brock, gladly accepts any and all challanges that come to him posing a rather impressive challange with his two rock-type Poke'mon Onix and Geodude. Pewter Museum of Science:After paying a small admission fee, anyone can look about the museum and enjoy the many displays of fossels, old art, and ancient tablets. It's a popular place for young trainers to check out as it holds the only full skeleton of the extinct Poke'mon Kabutops, Omastar, and Aerodactyl. Poke'Mart:Poke'mon Center:

Slifer ran into Pewter city, letting the smell of the rock quarreling city run into his nose. He took deep breaths, enjoying the city life. He smiled as he looked around and saw all the sites, there were people walking around doing their daily business, quite a few stopped and smiled, petting Tails, who seemed to be enjoying this very much. He looked over and saw what he was looking for, the Poke Centre. He needed to visit this place first, heal up and rest, before going back to commence training. He picked up Tails, who has now the centre of a small crowd, and ran toward the pokemon centre.
"Nurse Joy" he said slowly as he entered. She turned around and nodded and smiled "You wish me to heal your pokemon?", Slifer nodded, returning Tails to her ball he handed over his four pokeballs to Nurse Joy, who took them with a smile, and told him they would be ready in about four hours. Smiling he turned to leave the Pokemon place, hoping to find somewhere where he might buy something for on the road. Looking around he saw a Pokemart. He smiled and ran over toward the Market, and began to look at what they were selling.
He could use some Potions, although he would wait a while, for the moment he was quite content with the fact his Pokemon could fend for themselves. Looking around and seeing nothing he wanted to buy, he turned and exited the building, heading back over towards the Pokecentre. He needed to kill some time whilst he waited, so he sat down and took a little nap, to refresh his batteries, as they say. Yawning he fell asleep, peaceful and undisturbed, until Nurse Joy awoke him to tell him his Pokemon were ready. Eagerly taking them he ran back towards the forest, which didn't seem so bad anymore, now that he had conquered it. He was going to get down to some real training...

Alex had to forgo her skateboard to make it down the slopes to get to Pewter city. The heavy weight of her skateboard and her pack didn't do much to help her, either. She sighed irritably, but in the end managed to slide down to the bottom. She had returned all pokemon at the top of the slope, so they were all safely clipped to her belt. She got out her skateboard once more as she reached the bottom, and headed towards the pokemon center.
She smield at the friendly nurse took her pokemon. Fortunately for her they were healed in a matter of minutes. She took the rest of her time to explore the museum at the other side of Pewter. Alex stopped at one particular fossil. It was of a winged pokemon, labeled Aerodactyl. She gasped. An.. aerodactyl? She was going to get one of those! But.. how? They were extinct, and now lay only fossilized. But she'd heard of a lab somewhere on CInnabar Island that could bring fossils to life.
After a while, she left and headed towards the forest in order to train there some more. Alex'd have to level up her metapod in order to defeat Brock, and then confuse him and his pokemon into favour of her winning the match.

Slifer ran into the city once again, carrying his Pokeballs in his hands. He ran directly toward the pokemon center, before unloading his pokeballs onto the counter. Nurse Joy smiled at him, although she looked a little annoyed he had already brought them back. He smiled as he watched, waiting he went to sit in a chair, and picked up one of the magazines which lay there, he began reading an interesting article about ancient pokemon. A few hours later Nurse Joy approached him and nodded, smiling. He stood up and walked toward the counter, picking the pokeballs up he walked out the place, wondering what he would do now.
Deciding he would head back to the forest to train he got up and walked toward the forest, he smiled as he looked back to the pokemon centre, seeing an angry Nurse Joy looking back at him...

The trip was long.... cold.... dull. Jake had promised to assist his father with the shipment to Pewter City- most of which were Poke'mon ordered from their facililty. One was a rather large one. It had to be contained by a Poke'ball but occassionally they'd release the onix to stretch itself along the road. All night they had traveled in the cold, taking shifts between father and son to drive the Tauros from Pallet. They had arrived in the noon hour to this fair city, both of them cold, tired, and in terrible need of something warm in their bellies. Work had to be done first- always work. While his father unloaded the Poke'mon supplies and delivered them to the PokeMart Jake attended to the load of ordered Poke'mon. The Poke'mon center there in Pewter had a delivery servace for young trainers and their familys that ordered Poke'mon from his family. Every one did... and it was the Hunts job to deliver as quickly as possible.
With his heavy burden Jake pushed through the front doors of the Poke'mon center, walking slowly to the front desk. His long opal hair lay matted and damp around his face, clinging to his flesh and working like a spider's web down his back, dripping chilling amounts of water down the boy's allready wet back. Jake never looked like a pleaent person to be around. His dark complexion, dark hair, and dark blue eyes gave a good indication to his personality. He spoke little- and when he did it was short and brief- to the point. Beside him walked a growlithe that seemed to share his dark complexion. Its fur was a near blood red, it's mane a dusty cream color. It too was silent and looked just about as serious as his trainer. It was larger than most growlithe with an impressive body build. It had been in training for years.
"Your delivery Ma'am..." Jake said in his deep, silent voice as he slid the box to the counter, "A large one in there. Be sure the trainer picks it up on time... it gets rather aggressive if not permitted a stretch from it's confinement." With that he turned and made his way to one of the seats provided for waiting trainers. His father would meet him here and give him what he needed to travel with Armos. He couldn't help but wonder where the boy was now... probibly still stuck in the forest with his little meowth. Drake laid himself down at his trainer's feet, his head resting on the twenty year old's lap. A dark but gentle hand met with the shadowed mane, running through the dampend fur slowly.

Alex yawned and stretched herself across one of the seats of the poke'center. She had been waiting for her pokemon to be healed, when she watched another enter. A pokemon delivery, it seemed. She watched as the nurse took the pokeball with interest. The wonder of what could be in the pokeball sparked her interest. Something big? She moved over slightly as the young man sat down, just a couple of seats from her. He intimidated her, but she wasn't sure why or how. She was glad to be called up to receive her pokemon, and be out of the center. Alex eyed the man once more before leavin gthe center as fast as she could. Once out, she launched off on her skateboard.
Alex stared around as soon as she got out of the center. She'd already been to the museum, so that was out of the question, unless she wished to view it again. Alex sighed as she just wandered around randomly. She no longer had the will to train, so that wasn't going to happen either. Alex looked at the forest that could just be barely seen from where she stood, and wondered where Slifer was. They's split up, so she hoped he was safe. Alex released Thunder, who stared up at her curiosuly. "Hey there. What do you want to do? Go out to a restaraunt?"
The pikachu nodded at her question, and they went off to a restaurant. She found a nice one, which served both trainers and their pokemon. "This one?" She asked her pikachu, receiving a nod in return. That one it was. She released Razorwing and Smallpaw, who all entered together. Murodi lacked the ability to eat in his current stage. Alex walked up to the receptionist. "There's three pokemon and myself. Can you do that?"

Pat walked into the town complety weak still olding Mikage and Bugsy in his arms...the fainted Puki was in her pokeball.
"wow that was really tough"
"Ee...Vee..."
"i know your hurt we on our way to the center now don't worry you'll be fine."
"Metapod Meta"
"glad to see your okay we got in alot of trainig i think our team if stronger now. Oh look there is the center."
The center was up ahead and Pat broke into a run, when the reached the center all was quiet exept for nurse joy who was sitting and the desk writing
"nure joy can you heal my pokemon?"
Joy- "of course it will take some time though"
"oh thats fine ill just stop by the poke mart the here you go"
Pat handed her Bugsy, along with his pokeball. Mikage along with her pokeball. And Puki who still was in her pokeball
Joy- "okay come back once your finished and they should be healed."
"okay thank you"
Pat walked out the doors in the direction of the pokemart.

Pat walked into the pokemart on browsed their wares.
"hmm..ill take one of everything exept pokeballs and repells"

Pat left and headed back to the pokecenter, when he walked in he was greeted by nurse Joy.
Joy-"welcome back your pokemon are all fine" she handed me my three pokeballs
"oh thank you so much come on out everyone"
Mikage came out and jumped on Pat's shoulder and licked his face.
Bugsy came out and wiggled a little bit with a happy look on his face
Puki came out and hugged my leg.
"well im happy to see your all okay..lets see if there is a place to eat around here."
The group left the pokecenter looking for a resteraunt, but saw the gym and decided to head that way.

Alex stepped into the pokecenter, after receiving a message that she had a pokemno to pick up. She smiled at the nurse at the counter, who explained what was going on. "Ah, hello there! Are you here for the notice about the pokemon?" Alex nodded, and told her name. "Alright, Alex. Hm, your pokemon is over, ah, here!"
After a bit of rummaging, Alex received her new pokemon. She smiled and thanked the nurse, wondering what pokemon was kept inside. She threw it from hand to hand before releasing the pokemon inside. A growlithe appeared in a flash of red light, and barked good-naturedly. Alex smiled at the grolithe. "Hey there! I've already decided a name for you; Mijou!"
She smiled and laughed at the doglike pokemon, and they left the pokecenter to train in the forest. This would be Alex's last expedition there; then she would challenge Brock.

*Syt walks into the pokemon center with Kitsune bii at her side. She looks around her, seeing many different types and elements of pokemon. some evolved, some not. The light above the emergency room was lit as anctious trainers. Various chanseys rushed around with pokemon, beds and supplies.
She suddenly remembers something. Heading over to the corner of the center she picks up the phone and calls her parents. Her mother appeared on the viziscreen.*
*Her mom blinks then smiles* Syt! So I see that you made it to Pewter city! how are you doing?
Hey mom! I'm doing fine *syt smiles* just checking in
Okay dear. well I have to go, I have supper on the stove. Oh! they should have a package for you in the pokemon center. it came just after you left, so i sent it there hoping it would catch you. bye honey!
Thanks mom say hi to everyone for me! *she then hung up and turns around, walking up to the counter she waits a few minutes before Nurse Joy returns to the counter*
Welcome to the Pewter city pokemon center, I'm Nurse Joy, how can I help you?
*Kitsune bii watches on in interest* Hi, My mom said that she dropped of a package for me?

Pat ran into the center with Bugsy in his arms
"Nurse could you please heal him he's been poisened by a weedle"
Nurse-"Yes of course it won't be a problem here let me see She took the Metapod from Pat's arms "hmm yes it is definatly poison but it is easily healed"
"okay thank you nurse,"
Nurse-"yes its no problem" the nurse applied a poison heal to Bugsy, then handed him back to me "okay he should be fine now take care"
"thank you we will, perhaps we can find a nice place to eat"
Pat and Bugsy exited the pokecenter for a place to eat.

Sao stood atop of the steep hill leading into the vally that the little city of Pewter slept in. She looked down the long path and then to Eki, who was eyeing it just as she was.
"Well Eki... do you think we're ready to face Brock? Because once we get down there, we aren't coming back for a while..."
"Chaaa..." Eki looked insulted, of course he was ready! Just look at him! He looked just as powerful as he was!
Sao smiled, "I'll take that as I yes then. Well... lets get started. Do you want back in your ball?" Sao reached for her belt, but Eki growled.
"No ball then." Sao sighed, starting the hour-long walk down to the city.

On their way down the steep hillside, a few pokemon that hung around the edges of the forest and such decided that Sao and Eki looked like fair game to them.
The first one, a weedle, Sao let Tori take care of. Tori let out a feirce cry as he tackled the weedle, which sent it flying.
The second, a caterpie, Sao again let Tori take care of, as she did the third caterpie. Tori took both out with a powerful gust.
"Well, Tori, looks like you've gotten quite strong." She pet her pidgey as he perched on her shoulder before she sent him back to his pokeball.
The next attack was from a pidgey, of which Akisu took care of. It was a tough battle and both pokemon took blows, but in the end the electric mouse won with a thundershock. Sao patted Akisu before sending her back to her ball as well.
She turned around and sighed, petting Eki.
"We're almost down, then we'll get you and the others to a pokecenter and then we'll all find someplace to eat. How does that sound?"
Eki smiled.
"Chaaameleon!" He cried and then nudged Sao, demanding that she hurry up and get down there so they could eat.
