This is the area that seems to have a rather strange looking castle with the heartless insignia on the highest tower.
Below it lies a city in ruins and it has no light to shine upon this forgotten area. On Sora's previous adventure, this area was frozen over and inaccessible, actually most of the town of Radiant Garden was frozen in never melting ice to be more well put.
Now as Radiant Garden flourishes, this area seems to become more dark as if trying to match its rival.....
Sephiroth once stood watch here before he and Cloud vanished in a clash....

Kaila made her way through the castle halls, she frowned lowering her head slightly as she tried to frantically come up with an explanation that would not give away the current status of Sora and co. She blinked and put a hand over her heart as she once again remembered the words Sora had said that had frozen the girl right where she stood.But that power, and the light that shone from him....It had burned her so she presumed she wouldn't be able to get too close either way.
There stood Maleficent looking outside and Kaila took a deep breath and released it as a sigh, approaching Maleficent.
The witch did not turn to look at Kaila directly, instead she spoke as she continued to stare out the "window".She glanced over her shoulder and smiled as she then turned back to the strange structure showing the outside world "So....Had fun...?I assume you got to test your new powers, with all that darkness running loose."
Kaila's reaction made the witch smile as she had quietly watched the silver haired girl from the corner of her eyes "Oh don't think I didn't see...Where there is darkness there I will have eyes...." she turned around to face Kaila as she began to speak with a sarcastically sympathetic tone "And that poor, poor Sora...He had a bit of trouble there didn't he....?"
Kaila felt a chill run through her body and she tried as best as she could to answer without showing how she truly felt, something she was normally good at...When she wasn't under pressure.
"What...? So, you saw everything that happened...?"
Maleficent walked towards Kaila now, putting on what the girl before her truly believed was a sympathetic face "And how he told you to stay away...When you look towards him with so much fondness...See, they do not truly care about you or your new powers...I can help you with that..." as Kaila lowered her head feeling guilt and hurt, Maleficent stood next to her and put her hand on her shoulder. "Come, I must show you new things for you to learn."
She smiled as it became more obvious that the Darkness had no side effects on the girl.Unlike Riku, it did not hurt her and she seemed to master it quite quickly. She had learned to summon Heartless in nearly half of the time it took Riku, although it did tire the new "apprentice" to open portals and the such still, that was still too advanced for her.
But she would fix that over time, as she also would remake Kaila's attitude towards her friends.

Sikix appeared in the crystal crevice and looked around before sniffing the air. "there is the scent....of the foul darkness that woman holds...but....the other must be the one M'leige talked about.....I can;t disappoint the master now can I......" Sikix hung his head for a second then looked up. "So....Roxas would turn me into the organization?....Bah......thats ridiculous...but the master has not been wrong so far......thy cunning is to be feared......" sikix walked out iof the crevice towards the failing castle of heartless before leaping into the air bounding across the lands and landing ever so quietly on the roof of the highest tower. " Welll then Malifecnt show me what you got."

Maleficent stopped suddenly, Kaila looking at her in confusion. Without turning to look at the girl that stood behind her, she quietly said "Dear, go to your room....The training can wait.....Seems we have a visitor..." she gently gestured for Kaila to run ahead as she slowly turned to look back at the room they stood at smiling slightly. "Looks like they don't want you with me...Now go on...I'll fetch you once this over."
Kaila had stared for a moment but then nodded and ran off as she was told, Maleficent warped to her lookout, right where the Heartless insignia was and walked out of it to the balcony it held. If she managed to get complete control over the darkness here, this castle would become just as "great" as the one that lay basking in the light.
She stood as if she did not notice but behind her a new kind of Heartless emerged, one that had been created from Kaila's darkness itself and it sat behind her in the shadows. Were it to stand, it would stand at the height of probably a Behemoth Heartless.

"Damn...hear i thoguhty I was quite enough..... Zexoin After the girl follow but do not engage go..." Zexiopn emerged and disappeaed from Sikix very quickly. Sikix jumped into the air and came to hover se3veral yards from malifecent in front of her and ciould see her new toy. " Greeting from the Void Dear Mistrerss!! How fares you on this terribly bright day?'

Maleficent frowned slightly and shook her head "Too bright I'm afraid...So, what brings you here...? Its not everyday that someone comes to visit this area of...." she seemed to wrinkle her nose as if the word disgusted her "Radiant Garden....."
The Heartless behind her seemed to growl slightly but only continued to observe the visitor, yellow eyes beady and full of malice. After all, its natural enemy stood not too far from it and the urge to maul it was being held back by Maleficent herself.
Kaila walked with a sort of pace similar to her brother's was when he had made his home on this world, it made her look more tomboyish than anything. Her eyes remained dead ahead as she began to plan her next move, she had to stay a step ahead of the Keyblade Master, that's what Maleficent had said.
She frowned and then lifted her hand stretching out her fingers and darkness emanating off of it. Once she learned how to completely control this, she herself did not know this, but she would become a great threat towards her friends. This Maleficent knew, for the girl showed no real sign of weakening when she used the abilities granted to her.
She froze and looked around in confusion as a voice echoed in her head, it sounded like Sora's but it had a more raspy and menacing sound to it " So...What's with you creating me hm? I mean thanks and all but still I'm curious...What's the deal....?" The voice faded as quick as it had come and she shook it off "Must be imagining things...Get a hold of yourself...." she mumbled as she shut her eyes.
At that split moment, she saw a darker skinned Sora with yellow eyes and colorless hair smirking with sharp teeth floating before her. He seemed to sit on thin air, Indian style, with his arms crossed and he tilted his head suddenly vanishing. Kaila yelled and put her hands on her head, falling onto her knees, she shut one eye tightly and gasped for air.
"What....UGH!Wh-What was that...?" as quickly as the headache had come, it faded and she slowly stood putting a hand on her knee for support. She stood straight then stopped, looking over her shoulder slightly. Beside from Maleficent's faint yet recognizable aura, and the "visitor's" there was one closer to her. She clenched her hands into fists and then spun around as she yelled "Who are you?! Show yourself!" her own aura similar to that of her brother's perhaps she had begun attracting unwanted attention.

Radiant Garden is a nice name Dear Lady. Even one fo the darkness as you must recognize this fact...The light may trouble you one filled with darkness but let that not be the problem.....You must ask who do you align yourself? I mean someone so profoubnd in dark arts as yourself must know the value of a ally." Sikix smirked alisghtly his gaze not fixed on malifecent but the heartless behind her.
"Lost one....the darkness troubles one so pure in it." Came Zexions voice as he emerged from the shadows behind kaila. you left your freinds in the castle? Tsk tsk such a rash action. I guess you don;t think they will hold to youtr freindship if you let them know of the darkness inside of you? I mean...Riku fell to the darkness the Malificent gave him. and yet....they welcomwed him back with open arms. Tell me why run when they yelled at you? Are you that scared of losing something that might not be true?

Maleficent frowned slightly and then shook her head "I suppose everyone has their taste..." she blinekd and then smiled slightly as the topic of allegiances came forth "Hm, truly as of now I'm merely on my own. I'm still searching for a good castle, this one althought it's growing," she motioned towards the halls behind her "It's not as good as I would like it to be...Heartless seem to have a unique taste in castles..."
Her eyes watched Sikix with great curiosity as she thought on the question "Hmm, are you asking that we form an allegience....?" she spoke in a calm yet interested manner now.The Heartless behind her growling still as it backed off more so it could hide in the shadows of the halls.
Kaila blinked and frowned her eyes scanning the room infrot of her until she realized that he who spoke to her stood behind her. She spun around gritting her teeth and clenshing her hands into fists. "What do you know?! I'm not bugged by it one bit!" her expression changed from irritated to one of slight panic and uncertainty as fast as the first had appeared "My....Frienship...?" she relaxed her stance and then stared at the ground before her as her mind analyzed what she had heard. "Not....true...?" this made a tinge of ache well up in her heart
she remained quiet and then shook her head before looking Zexion straight in the eye "I'm not doing this for the fun of it, I'm doing this because I don't wanna be the weak one anymore." why had she run when Sora had demanded she stay away...? Truth was she was afraid of someone yelling at her, she was afraid of being alone as well and she has a mentality that made her think yelling would lead to everyone leaving her. She was slightly surprised about the information on her brother and she spoke up surprised eyes widening with eager curiosity "Wait, Riku couldn't handle using darkness?What do you mean by that? He used darkness too?"

Zexion smirked a littel at Kaila's response. " Of course he did. WHen he opened and stepped through the door of darkness malifecent found him and kept feeding darkness into his heart. Soon a darkness he couldn;t control entered him and he lost his body to a heartless. sora defeated the heartless and released Riku from the hold but only a little. Riku faced the darkness in his heart but is still troubled by how easily he lost it. He thoguht he was in control but he blinded himself to the truth. The truth was....he wanted the power to be strong so much....He lost his friends.....even fought them.
But you....are immune to most of the pain he had faced to get to the level you are.....And yet...you follow someone who is weak in dark powers being promised to more then they can give you. Tell me young lady.....If Riku taught you to use darkness.....and you gained control of it. Do you think you'ld be firends? On the other hand. You can learn from the one who can be corrupted by the power they seek and fall to oblivoin like Riku once had."
sikix knodded at Malifecent. " Yes I am. The darkness is profound here...for a world of light. But I can remake a castle that has falen for you. I could recreate the Castle the Nobodies of Organization XIII used. adn let you have it. But the price...is your loyalty and allegiance to the Order. with that castle. and the darkness i can fill it with you can lead a vast army of heartless agaisnt the light. Sure it is possible for the Key masters to enter it I won;t lie. But you'll hafe the advantage of a grand structure to control. The corridors filled and flowing with darkness at your call. The land of shadows should be easy for you to control. What do you say? I, of course, will be the medium between you and the Order. Giving you what we think maybe necessary to fulfill our goals."

She blinked and stared at Zexion in bewilderment, this was much more detailed from the stories Sora had said and so far as she knew Riku wouldn't dare bring the subject up. She frowned and crossed her arms as she began to think on Zexion's words.She then looked up and smirked tilting her head to the side "Well then who do you think would be better off teaching me the powers of darkness...? I don't want to have to stop halfway because no one has gotten past a certain point..." she held her hand up and looked up at it with some sort of thirst for the power in her eyes.
"I'd be the first one to REALLY be able to control it completely...Wouldn't I...?" her eyes shone with malice as she imagined some sort of illusion that all would watch in awe as she easily got the upper hand in a fight. She then blinked and frowned looking at the floor "Still be friends....?"
Kaila then looked up and put a hand on her hip, with the other she flipped her bangs away from her face "Heh, after they see how strong I will get, they'll want me to be around!" she couldn't stop smiling but it was not a smile of joy it was more of one pleased by a feat that had been overcome.
"So, what's your idea?"
Maleficent blinked and then put a finger on her chin in interest, she had really liked that castle but it was completely annihilated by the last fight Sora and Riku had been in against Xemnas. She smiled slightly as she thought on the idea and then slowly lowered her hand as a calm look overcame her usually emotionless expression. "Well, it sound like a marvelous idea...But first, what is your name....?" she held her hand waiting to hear a name once said she'd say her own and hold her hand out to shake it as a sign of accepting the deal.
That world was perfect, it was seeped in darkness and Heartless ruled the city. She would just have to find a way to control those accursed lesser Nobodies from attacking her and Kaila. Wait, from Kaila herself, the darkness within the girl's heart had created new kinds of Heartless every time she slept and dreamed..... With this much darkness practically at her door the future seemed.....Bright.

Zexion knooded to kaila " you would be the first in this realm to do it. No one has complete control of it save for those born in the dark realm. We could show you to the one who knows all. He has arrived in the castle ...from my understanding. and at the moment not everyone knows his goals. but if you learned from him and still where friends with the others you would be in the best place of any alliance."
Sikix knodded and slwoly moved clsoer to Malifecent. " The name is Sikix......as your Liason to my master. I will aslio need to be in the loop woth you of course...but the World that never was....is yours to use...' Sikix shoke malifiecents hand and simply smiled.

Kaila blinked and then nodded this all sounded too god to be true, she'd get her powers under complete control, get rid of the thing that had recently appeared within the dark corners of her mind....And even maybe even go back to her friends. All perfect.
She crossed her arms and nodded then tilting her head with a smirk "Fine, I'll play along....." within her mind she silently added 'But if anything happens to go wrong, I'll be outta there faster than how darkness spreads....'
Maleficent nodded and her lips curled to a slight smile "Maleficent.....A pleasure doing business with you." oh how wonderful, that castle that sat on one of the biggest wells of darkness. She'd be able to get rid of any pesky enemies and from what she saw that was happening to Sora, even maybe take control of one of the strongest Keybearers that existed.
"So then," she released her hand from the shake and motioned towards this castle "My little apprentice will like that world I believe. She complains of her eyes stinging all the time from the light." Maleficent then turned to Sikix and put a hand slowly over her own heart "Her heart is VERY strong, its as if it is immune to darkness' effects." she then lowered her hand calling off the Heartless from before as it stalked off into the depths of the castle "She could be rather helpful......She hasn't had any problems so far, unlike Riku did."

No one is Immune unless you have no heart. However if she is ersistance in the least she will be able to deal quite well with any trianing. This is me personally. But having here with Sora is a good way to keep tabs ion the meddler. I will have your castle restored within a day ortwo So if you want Maleficent you can gather all the darkness from this castle and store it in this...." Sikix snapped his fingers letting a gaint crsytal appear bhind maleficent. "Use this....a opposite to the Cornerstone fo light. However it will ake years for it to gain the ability to repel ight like the Cornerstone can repel darkness."
Zexion knodded and then bowed. "Well my master is meeting yours. he can help train you when you need it but I'm sure he would want you to remain with sora as well. Remember the dark and light are enemies. you must simply be careful. Take a time now and thwen, of course. to return to my master so he may trian you and help you gain power. It is very simple is it not?"

Maleficent blinked and looked over her shoulder in surprise at the crystal as it floated before her"My,my what a piece of art that is...." she put a hand on her chin, deep in thought and then turned back to Sikix "Very well then, I believe that I will reside in the city area of that world until the castle is once again in existence..." she went back to observing the crystal and carefully tried to plan out a way to speed up the process so that this crystal could rival the Cornerstone itself. She could ask Kaila for some help.....
Ah yes, she should go tell the child to prepare to move to another location, Maleficent turned once again to Sikix and smiled as she spoke "Pleasure doing business with you, I do think we'll meet again, Sikix...." as she said this, she made her way back into the hall and off to some other area of the castle. Two large Heartless came and carried off the crystal.

"Well young master i must leave you...the Witch will be here shortly...my master will have her end of the deal soon enough..... But if you want to learn how to really use that power....Train with my master. it will do you good.......but remember only train with him when you know that you can leave your friends for some time....." Zexion bowed and disappeared from view before Malificent could see him.
As malificent left his view Sikix smirked on the top of the castle. " Good work Zexion...let us leave this place for now...I must up root the ruins and rebuild them. Shouldn't take it too long. Your old home will be perfect for her.....and us. That crsytal will do her well....until she can no longer hold her end of the bargain......" Sikix shrugged as a dark portal opened and whisked him away from the castle Zexion remaining behind still with no aura around him.
